It seems when MPs pay rise is recommended by an independent watchdog they think that’s fine but when #WASPI women have an award recommended by an independent watchdog, it’s not fine. Astonishing isn’t it…

"The #WASPI women have in effect been victims of a decision of this Govt" @SteveDarlingMP What about the majority of #50sWomen who were ALSO victims of the coalition govt decision to accelerate the grotesquely unfair changes in 2011, in breach of enforceable laws? #Mediation

#PMQs #50sWomen The Judge's Report finds both #Discrimination & #Maladministration out of breached enforceable laws Why would #WASPI look a gift horse in the mouth whilst flogging a dead horse? Mediators are on standby to be considered for the neutral #Mediation role #CPR

Not only prosperous but the envy of the world as showcased in the 2012 Olympics. All thrown under the bus by rent-a-gape because of greed and selfishness.

Until 2016, the UK was a normal, prosperous, functioning, happy country. Then this lot destroyed everything, while handing what money we had left to donors and fraudsters. The people are now paying the price.

Keir Starmer is bringing back powers that would let the Government spy on our bank accounts. Yep, you read that right. I just joined the campaign to stop this - add your name and join the fight here: you.38degrees.org.uk/petitio… via @38degrees

#50sWomen Would you be 😁 to join a DWP poverty assessment queue to beg for £1k (or less) in full & final settlement after 🫵 loss of 50K? No, of course you wouldn’t! ✍️ & RT the petition calling @leicesterliz to #CEDAWinLAW mediation re: ALL 1950s Women change.org/p/secretary-of-st…

They call us "The Elderly" We were born in the 40-50-60’s. We grew up in the 50-60-70's. We studied in the 60-70-80's. We were dating in the 70-80-90's. We got married and discovered the world in the 70-80-90's. We venture into the 80-90’s. We stabilize in the 2000’s. We got wiser in the 2010’s. And we are going firmly through and beyond 2020. Turns out we've lived through EIGHT different decades... TWO different centuries... TWO different millennia... We have gone from the telephone with an operator for long–distance calls to video calls to anywhere in the world. We have gone from slides to YouTube, from vinyl records to online music, from handwritten letters to email and Whats App. From live matches on the radio, to black and white TV, colour TV and then to 3D HD TV. We went to the Video store and now we watch Netflix. We got to know the first computers, punch cards, floppy disks and now we have gigabytes and megabytes on our smartphones. We wore shorts throughout our childhood and then long trousers, Oxfords, flares, shell suits & blue jeans. We dodged infantile paralysis, meningitis, polio, tuberculosis, swine flu and now COVID-19. We rode skates, tricycles, bicycles, mopeds, petrol or diesel cars and now we drive hybrids or electric. Yes, we've been through a lot but what a great life we've had! They could describe us as "exennials," people who were born in that world of the sixties , who had an analog childhood and a digital adulthood. We've kind of "Seen-It-All"! Our generation has literally lived through and witnessed more than any other in every dimension of life. It is our generation that has literally adapted to "CHANGE." A big round of applause to all the members of a very special generation, which will always be UNIQUE! Class dismissed…

There are calls for Lord Eric Pickles to resign from the House of Lords he complained to the Grenfell Inquiry that he was missing important lunches. Like if he needs to resign. RT if he needs to be fired.

Rachel Reeves to soften changes to non-dom tax regime after hearing ‘concerns’. Another election pledge diluted. Any chance of softening on the two-child benefit cap, winter fuel payment cut, freeze on personal allowance? Thought not ... the rich rule. theguardian.com/politics/202…

If this nonsense wasn’t so egregious, dangerous & cruel, it would be a comedy sketch. Labour will take the driving licences off those on benefits who have no job, no income and no savings to repay benefits. Rancid. Warped. Labour is finished.

So, the DWP will receive powers to enable them to take money from the bank accounts of people on benefits as part of a crackdown on overpayment and fraud. Perhaps they should have a closer look at some prime examples on the 'benefits' of taxpayers money. #GMB #BBCBreakfast

The 2 places that claim the most Benefits in the UK are Buckingham Palace and Westminster. They claim outrageous amounts for parties, discount booze, and billions on endless completely unnecessary refurbishments. If you hate Benefits, start here.
