incubating @Batch89_Sei was one of the coolest experiences for me in Web3, and just in general I was first introduced to @Midas30_07 (the artist) through @ifyouSei he said there’s a really talented dude from Nigeria who needs some help launching a project previously, Midas would do custom art for projects to get WL spots, but now he was ready to do his own thing we got into a group chat and Midas showed me the Batch89 art I was SHOCKED to see pen art on paper and was BLOWN AWAY by the level of talent this guy had I mean, the amount of detail in these pieces is insane plus, it’s pen art… on paper… you can’t erase that shit and fix mistakes almost immediately I was like “alright, let’s do this” as I got to know Midas and the project, I learned that the reason he was doing pen art on paper was because he literally couldn’t afford a tablet to do digital art at the time it was awesome to see the Sei community rally behind Midas’ art and Batch89 minted out QUICK it was a free mint and currently sits at 420 $SEI (almost $200), which I would say is pretty damn successful Midas has come a long way since we incubated Batch89 (and now has a tablet!) he is now on the team of @Block24_ and @crossover_xo, has made money doing commissioned custom @fuckersforlife, and has been hard at work on @Onyx_sei, which we’re currently in the process of incubating (mint details asap after @moodzonsei) it’s been a great experience being a small part of Midas’ journey on Sei from WL warrior, to esteemed artist, Midas has already had quite the come up and is just getting started I’m super proud of Midas for his hard work, dedication, and talent I'm stoked for MOODZ, Onyx, and more upcoming projects incubated by @s3_labs if you're an artist looking to launch NFTs on @SeiNetwork, open a ticket in the S3 Discord or DM me, we would love to explore ways we can work together and pick up a Batch89 here: pallet.exchange/collection/b…

I got a new camera and filmed myself sitting at my desk all day

excited to announce a fundraiser I helped set up this weekend with @bassbuddha, @blckmrktlabs, and other projects in the Sei ecosystem if you're not aware, our good friend @gabeonsei was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer we figured he should worry about kicking cancer's ass rather than money while he goes through treatment so, all $SEI from tickets purchased for the following NFTs will be sent to Gabe's wallet after the raffle concludes shoutout to @MrGreenity (@dystopia_sei), @TheWangman_ (@CappysNFT), and Buddha (@SeilamisNFT) for donating these from their treasury there will be more raffles from contributing projects later this week! head to sei.blckmrkt.io/ to participate, every ticket counts! and make sure to send some love Gabe's way here: teapawt.net/gabeonsei/status/18375… let's raise a F*CK LOAD of money fam 🔥

gm 🫡 shoutout to @Clark10x for the clip-able moment yesterday on Daily S3X 😂 and shoutout to @fuckersforlife and the Sei community for being chads and helping people get started on the fast red chain 🔴💨 slowly, then all at once.

how Sei Network is changing my life ⤵️ a couple months ago, @Sei_FND announced the $10 million Creator Fund at first, @gitcoin wasn’t mentioned, they had a form you filled out to apply for direct funding @s3_labs applied we were ecstatic when we got the opportunity to pitch to Sei Foundation we had a meeting with @phillip_xyz and requested a grant to make content, host spaces, and support community weeks went by, and I wasn’t really sure what was going to happen but then I got a DM from @GroverGPT WE WERE APPROVED!! in the meantime, Sei announced the Gitcoin rounds (this meant we had a chance to get even more funding) we thought it’d be stupid not to apply, considering we genuinely know we can put this money to good use to further the Sei eco we were SUPER STOKED to come in 2nd place alongside all the amazing projects here on Sei with that money, we’ve paid our team and bought equipment to improve spaces and content in general during all this, we kept the direct funding on the DL and only told those we really trust, just in case something happened and things didn’t end up working out but now, I’m happy to announce that the first portion of our grant has been received! we’re going to use this funding to pay & expand our team, purchase necessary equipment, and attend IRL events (there will be S3 presence at Art Basel) our goal is to grow S3 Labs and ultimately grow Sei Network we’ll continue supporting the community to the best of our ability and improving the quality of the content we produce on top of all this, I started working with @SeijinApp as the project lead so far this has been an awesome experience, I’m learning a lot and am excited to help position Seijin as the #1 Sei native launchpad let me just say, all of this is quite literally life changing for me now between Seijin and S3, I’m pretty much full time Web3 if you would’ve told me in January that I’d be in this position in August, I would’ve laughed in your face I don’t come from a lot of money, I hated my Web2 job, and honestly, before I found Sei I was kind of lacking direction and feeling pretty down about life in general so to all of you who’ve hung out with me in VCs, made me laugh, tuned in to spaces, or supported us throughout the past few months, thank you ❤️ it’s been a very humbling and exciting journey so far and the coolest part is, we’re just getting started special shout out to the S3 team: @RektfulKen @Woodshed3NFT @noblesnft @auntygingy @steviesei @ifyouSei @unclecuban @yoitsModern and our gladiators: @wigsisdead @BkArchived and @bullshitjoe1 now the real work begins, stay tuned 🫡
