Pastors need to get comfortable with calling sin what it is. God's commands are not simply suggestions that have utility. They are COMMANDS to be followed!
You can use the psychological effect of a sin as a way to buttress the point, but that should only be after you have called it out as sin---rebellion against God.
But then, God has to be a big deal in your church first for that kind of preaching to have any effect.

Today, at THE CITY BUILDERS event organised by pastor Tobore David, and I cannot think of a better conversation to have on a day like this than the future of our people.
66 years after independence, we must begin to ask ourselves, what kind of Nigeria are we leaving behind for the next generation? Why should our young people have to leave the state they love just to find opportunities to succeed?
My desire remains simple, to see a Delta we’d live in, not a Delta we’d be leaving. A Delta where enterprise thrives, talent is nurtured, and prosperity is within reach.
There is so much greatness within our people. We must build an environment that allows it to flourish.
