"Just want to say RIP to Stacey King who we lost recently. Person who I knew when I was in high school out here. He supported our team a lot. His kids went to Stevenson. Just to see him not here today, it's a little sad. And so I just want to say my thoughts and prayers with him and his family. And we miss him"

Last time and maybe only time one school had two was Yankees in 1978 with Chris Chambliss & Gary Thomasson (both Oceanside).

A whopping 79 NBA players are listed on today’s 2:30 PM injury report for tonight’s games.
That’s roughly 15% of the entire league 🤯

Ed Reed turned 64 interceptions into 1,590 return yards, the most in NFL history. That's why he's ahead of Paul Krause and his 81.
Said when those bad faith analytics based takedowns of Jaylen Brown’s season leaked, that clearly it was a case of national media carrying water for Celtics org. Can’t really argue leaks weren’t on purpose when a team employee says things like this on air.
Brian Scalabrine: “If I were to do PR work for Jayson Tatum, I would just remind everyone who led the league in turnovers last year.” 😬

Chiefs-Seahawks on Sunday night, which was hardly a compelling game, still attracted 26.3 million viewers. It was the biggest Week 7 @SNFonNBC audience since 2013, when Peyton Manning returned to Indianapolis. nbcsports.com/nfl/profootbal…

More Quentin Nelson hype videos
I don’t think I’ve seen an individual performance by a collegiate offensive lineman as impressive as Quenton Nelson @BigQ56 was against LSU. It’s a literal blocking highlight reel. Terrible conditions. Damn good front 7. What a way to cap an amazing career.

Yeah, seems appropriate. Rams are basically a two WR offense and are missing one of them for an extended period. Not to mention their two chief rivals have taken advantage of the Colts turning into the Nordstrom Rack of the NFL.
This was probably always going to be the outcome of a Buckner trade but I wonder if Seattle getting Nelson helped expedite this.
Reunion! The Colts are trading three-time Pro Bowl DL DeForest Buckner to the 49ers for a 2027 fourth-round pick, sources tell @ringer @netflixsports.
Buckner came to San Francisco as the No. 7 overall pick in the 2016. A decade later, he’s back.
