So did JJJ and Lauri carpool and get imaged back-to-back at the same location? Hopefully we get Lauri news soon.

Utah Jazz star Jaren Jackson Jr. has sustained a torn MCL in his right knee and will be sidelined for 6-to-8 weeks, sources tell me and @BannedMacMahon. Jackson will not require surgery.

Basketball is back, and that means so is the Salt City Seven! Every Monday during the regular season starts with @danclayt0n's seven recurring sections to catch up with all things Jazz. This week: turnovers, first buckets, the Lau-Trip combo and more. saltcityhoops.com/posts/salt…

With this deal on the books and Mara looking good, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Hartenstein eventually become available. Would be a perfect fit in Utah.

In a marathon, you can’t celebrate a victory after the first lap And anyone who thought Darryn Peterson’s slow start to the pre-season meant anything shouldn’t talk hoops Darryn is a future superstar in this league

Hardy is a smart and well-respected coach, but four years into his Jazz tenure, we still probably only barely have an understanding of what kind of a coach he is. Read my latest on what "Hardy unleashed" could look like for the rising Jazz.

Keyonte George and Austin Reaves had remarkably similar stats last season. Keyonte is 23 and signed a $31.5m AAV contract. Reaves is 28 and signed a $46.2m AAV contract. He's more proven and a slightly better defender, but has been surrounded by more talent. Will be interesting to see how they compare this season.
