Caught up with WR Cooper Hoch at #SJSU Spring Practice. Full interview of Cooper with @HB_SportsBeat below. Notable Quotes: “It’s kinda fun embracing that role, I like being able to teach because that tests my knowledge of the offense too…being able to talk to dudes about their splits, whether it’s depth, distance. That’s been fun for me and it’s helped me grow my game too.” - Hoch on embracing a leadership role in the WR room. “It’s a process, each day we’re getting a little bit better, but I love being around those guys and I can’t wait to see what we do together.” - Hoch on relationship with QB’s so far #Spartanup

I, along with the other media that cover SJSU can personally attest to how welcoming and accommodating the SJSU communications staff is and continues to be. Truly a first-class department

And another one hits the portal. Shoels role in the offense and production really picked up later in the season. Have to imagine WR Leland Smith hits the portal at some point as well. #SJSU will probably have to rely on more unproven options as they head into next season

The last four games for #SJSU offensively were unfortunate to say the least. 13 interceptions 0 passing TD and only 4 Total TD’s over that stretch Myself and @voz_aaron1 sat down to discuss that 4 game stretch and MUCH more. The full episode here: zeality.co/share/relive/407

BREAKING: SJSU has relieved Cornerbacks coach Greg Burns and Offensive Line Coach John Estes of their Duties. Per HC Niumatalolo: “We are continually evaluating every aspect of our program to ensure we are moving in the right direction.” #SJSU

And that’s a wrap on the 2025 SJSU season. It was very much an up and down year for the Spartans, but a joy to cover the team nonetheless #SJSU #cfb
