Very similar format. Massively different viewership.
that difference is structural. Prediction markets have a KOL problem:
the best PM traders are often the least streamable people imaginable.
Good prediction market traders can spend 6 hours:
- reading filings
- checking polling methodology
- comparing satellite images
- translating foreign news broadcasts
meanwhile the average perps trader :
- vibe check a chart
- take trade
- either get liquidated or print 40x in a minute
That’s insane entertainment value and I don't think prediction markets can compete on that
Prediction markets will still create famous traders but their celebrity will come from being trusted analysts, with their PNL as a credibility metric, not entertainers.
And once that reputation is etablish the next step is to make it investable :

My $WAR vault has reached +25% this month
that's 244% APY for investors !
not bad for passive yield.
the vault statistics actually show only 62% APY because they count from february when the vault was created, but not launched yet.
In reality (1+0.25)^(12/3) = 2.44 so the real number is 244% if i can keep this rate
the chart is pretty smooth lately because i'm trying to stay diversified and never exceeding 10% bankroll per position.
TVL has also grown +3x from $2.6K last month to $8.6k now from all the next deposits but there is still room to grow so don't hesitate to chip in.

My $WAR fund's TVL has grown 3x to $12.580 since July
I didn't expect so many deposits so fast
it took me by surprise and the TVL went beyond the max fund capacity that I initially set up, blocking any new deposits.
I'm doubling it to $20k so that it can accept deposits again.
Liquidity on geopolitics is limited so I didn't want to trade too big, but since the $10k was profitable why not go a bit above.
Thanks to all that deposited. May $WAR keep printing.

The most profitable geopolitic focused, tokenized vault in the prediction market space.
My @ZEITFinance fund has crossed the +20% profit mark in 2.5 month (=140% APY)
I'm deliberately using a very conservative strategy :
- no more than 10% on a single position
- mostly high probability bond + occasional moonshot with the proceeds
- min 15% cash buffer at all time, often more
The grind has been mostly very smooth and I intend it to stay that way.
+140% is very respectable APY, and since I trade with investor's money I want to avoid any major downside.
If someone wants to gamble there are already 1000 products for that in crypto, but risk controlled high yield investment products are very lacking.
That's the niche I intend to fill.
(The APY figure actually shows only 63% because I created 2 months before I started trading with it, so it counts these empty months)

Narratives are the next 1000x asset class.
Every big player is moving towards narrative investing
- @wintermute_t : narrative index baskets
- @Bitwise -> thematic model portfolios
- @Coinbase -> AI10, Defense10, China10 indices
- @ZEITFinance -> prediction market Worldviews
The idea is simple
You pick the thesis.
The product handles the execution
That's already how most people trade anyway.
They have an idea of how the world works, they pick a few assets that *they think* reflects it and pray :
- "I think inflation will rise" -> "I buy gold"
- "AI will get better" -> "buy $NVDA"
- "War with Iran will continue" -> "buy oil"
Except they all suck at execution ( asset selection, weighting, diversification and rebalancing etc. )
So even when their thesis is right they get subpar returns.
The next trend in finance is trading narratives directly, backed by an automatically managed portfolio of assets that reflect this narrative.
Right now these narrative indices are siloed.
Wintermutes and Bitwise do Crypto assets, ZEIT does Prediction Markets, Coinbaise does Stocks.
But narrative baskets of the future will cross and match all types of assets.
For example, imagine you have the following thesis :
"The war in Iran will keep escalating"
A good system could back it with the underlying portfolio :
-> Long Brent crude oil
-> Long fertilizers
-> Buy Defense company stocks
-> hedge with "Strait of Hormuz reopens" and "US x Iran ceasefire"
Add 20 other similar assets + automatic re-balancing and this point you are trading the pure narrative, unbothered by external fluctuation in one asset or another.
The first company to integrate all that properly will win the next phase of DeFi
