Had opportunity to know Charlie Colin many years ago. Cool cat. Live-band-Train Charlie + late-night-post-show Charlie. Enjoyed both. Hilarious conversation, action, unfortunately pushed his physical envelope, but memorable time spent. Feeling my mortality more and more. @train

In 1990's Wash. DC. I worked with a band, Sorry About Your Daughter. This was the bass player, Aaron Wertlieb. They were a really good band. He was a really good guy. Aaron passed away recently. Our last hang was at a Jawbox show. Fitting. Great sadness. Supreme love. @930Club

He we have a trio of bands that would not hang out in high school. They're all releasing albums today, & I am down with all three. KERRY KING "From Hell I Rise" ... SHELLAC "To All Trains" ... GUSTER "Ooh La La". Let the games begin. @KerryKingMusic @Slayer @touchandgorec @guster

Steve Albini created GRANDIOSE NOISE, in & out of the studio. With cohorts & with others. Let us not forget he had fine poker skills. Positive he'd want that tidbit tossed into the appreciative ether out there. Let me oblige. @PIXIES @Failure @Jawbreaker @bushofficial @cheaptrick

Marilyn Manson released "Golden Age of Grotesque" on 5/7/03. This day in 2003, yes. In my opinion, his best album. Finished now. @marilynmanson @FFDP @skoldofficial @kmfdmofficial @john5guitarist #marilynmanson #goldenageofgrotesque #fivefingerdeathpunch #timskold #KMFDM #john5

Know Brian Eno, but knew less than I thought. "BRIAN ENO: The Man Who Fell to Earth". Watch it! From strictly musical standpoint, my fave music doc. It was inside my brain, but knew how to describe the landscape. Entire music world owes him all day long. @brianeno @postrock_music

Musical grandiosity strikes!!! British rock songwriting gangsters bringing out new full length listening options today. Frank Turner with "Undefeated. Kelly Jones with "Inevitable Incredible". @frankturner @SleepingSouls @stereophonics @AdamZindani_ @PopMorrison @FrankTurnerFTHC

So, this is the date in '89 when we received "Disintegration" from The Cure ... ALL-TIMER ... Give it a spin today, since we'll never have access to the possibly mythical new album. @thecure @RobertSmith @RogerODonnellX @reevesgabrels @jasontoopcooper @LolTolhurst @CureCommunity

This was the date in 1994 that LIVE released "Thorwing Copper". Strong record with depth across the board. High marks. It definitely owned the radio. @Freaks4Live @FansOfLive @EDDIEKLIVE @like90srock @ReturnofR @RnRNationlive @historyrock_ @RockTheseTweets #live #throwingcopper

I rarely golf. They would call me a 40-handicap. Still, I tend to watch the four golf majors. Just finished "FULL SWING" doc series on Netflix. Grade: A+. Amazing. @FullSwingGolf @RickieFowler @JustinThomas34 @JordanSpieth @McIlroyRory @SchefflerLegion @MattFitz94 @tonyfinaugolf

For every Dua Lipa, we need an Eddie Sutton, to blowtorch our palates & keep the world in normal rotation. Leeway was legit, he was legit. Adios hombre! @hardcorethrash @realcromags @crumbsuckers @murphyslawnyhc @SOIANYC @prongmusic @VOD_band @badbrainsband @OFFICIALSTIG @Anthrax
