A father caring for two children with cerebral palsy, with no support system left. Before the genocide, his children had access to specialized programs, medical care, and services that supported their development. Today, those services are gone. He has been left to manage their care alone while struggling to provide even the most basic necessity: food. Help here: chuffed.org/project/help-us-…
This is the reality for countless families in Gaza caring for children with disabilities. Families who were already vulnerable have lost nearly every form of support they once depended on.
On September 13, The Sameer Project kitchen distributed 451 meals of rice and kofta. Of those, 431 meals went to displaced families in Al-Karm Camp in Deir Al Balah seen here, and 20 were delivered to Civil Defense workers. The total cost after 11% transfer fees was $1,306.
For less than $3, you can take one burden off a parent already carrying more than anyone should have to bear. Help us keep our kitchen running. Families like his are depending on us. Donate to The Sameer Project’s Food and Water Campaign: chuffed.org/project/help-us-…

Imagine someone steals your car.
You go to take it back, but the thief complains: "If you take it, I won't have transport to work. You need to solve that problem for me first.
This is the "But what happens to the Jews when Palestine is free?" argument.
gaza is facing the threat of famine again. pls go through your budget and find something you can sustainably redirect to palestinian families. make donations part of your regular spending. i am terrified for my friends and i need them to have money when they find food.
Within the next 48 hours, if flour is not allowed into Gaza, all bakeries in the city will stop producing bread.
We are facing an enormous catastrophe. Famine is knocking on our doors once again, and this time, it could be worse than anything we have experienced before.
Please, do not remain silent! Talk about Gaza, make our voices heard around the world, and do everything you can before thousands of people lose access to something as basic as a loaf of bread.

I think this arises from a fundamental misunderstanding of the psychology of bullies. When they single you out as the weirdo outsider, they can no longer empathise with you. There’s no shared moment of girlhood between the cool girl and the loser. This is explored in Carrie

It’s bewildering to me, after all we’ve seen over the past 3 years, that folks still believe there is anything to gain by giving even an inch to Zion*sm. Every capitulation. Every legitimising of their narrative. Every transgression against the Palestinian line. is a W for them

What if I told you it’s not antisemitism to be upset that Mamdani used bogus hate crime statistics by the NYPD, is funding groups like the JCRC who fund trips to Israel, funnel money to orgs that have Mossad agents as speakers, and plans to beef up police presence outside institutions that antizionists protest for selling stolen land and that you are either stupid or disingenuous if you are pretending that people angry about this are actually motivated by bigotry.
Furthermore, no other group, not even ones who face actual systemic oppression are singled out for task forces like this and the city should not be investing public money into ANY religious institutions full stop.
This is probably the last thing I’m going to say about this but seeing people literally cite these clearly bogus stats to defend Zohran which only inculcates the idea that we have to crack down on anti Zionism for “Jewish safety” reasons is wildly disappointing but not surprising.

For all his faults, Finkelstein said it plainly: “completely and totally ridiculous to talk about antisemitism in the United States.”
When Zionists are the ones defining the problem, “combating antisemitism” becomes defending Zionism.
Refusing that agenda is not antisemitism.

The left will abandon Palestine. I blame parasocialism for it. Their need for a hero. The personalities they listen to are manufacturing “antisemitism is rising” it’s a huge problem of pro Palestinians flirting with the “far right”. So they can launder Zionist politicians.

Lebensraum. The term used for Nazi Germany's expansionist policy in the 1930s-40s.
They are Nazis and they say it out loud.

If you bought tickets to ed Sheerans concert:
They’re not allowing refunds- however banks are approving chargebacks due to " not getting what purchased" as in macklemore is not performing anymore. Get your money back. Donate it to Gaza instead.

Why are people jumping to purchase from Macklemore instead of donating to the victims of genocide?
Equating everything to purchase power is not revolutionary. I understand boycotting artists but the focus remains on celebrities & not on the victims of genocide.

I am begging you all to not interact with that genocidal freak 2001 live account tomorrow. I know none of you will listen to me but I’m begging anyway

Had Rick Riordan stopped after Percy Jackson and the Olympians, his achievements would have been immortal. Had he stopped after Heroes of Olympus, he would still have been a great man but flawed. But his latest book came out in 2025. Alas, what can one say?

Please donate if you can to make sure this indispensable project can continue to operate
The Sameer Project started from a desire to help our Palestinian people differently - with dignity, without conditions, and in a way that returned agency instead of creating dependency.
We continued because the genocide continued.
And now, we are devastated to say that The Sameer Project is being forced to pause our daily operations.
Not because the need has decreased. Because the money has run out.
We are panicking. We are stressed. We are heartbroken because we know exactly what this pause means for the people who rely on us.
Mothers still need to feed their children. Families still need drinking water. The elderly and sick still need medication. People are still being killed in airstrikes and shootings while the occupation continues to manufacture deprivation by restricting aid.
We have always been an emergency response group. When you donated, we spent that money immediately on people who needed help NOW. We did not save it for some predictable tomorrow, because in Gaza tomorrow has never been promised.
Now we are reaching a point we never wanted to reach: we do not have enough coming in to keep responding.
This pause is not administrative. It is not harmless. When food, water, medicine, transportation, and emergency assistance disappear, people can die.
We desperately need you to understand the urgency of this moment.
Please help us restart operations. Please donate. Please share. Please do not let Gaza lose another lifeline.
In the coming days we will share with you exactly how to be part of the solution - how to bring The Sameer Project back. The need did not stop and neither can we. Stand with us…

Keep giving, keep supporting, and sign up to be a monthly donor if you can. Even committing to a recurring gift of $15/month means that there’s one more bit of money that can be relied upon.
