Here's an interesting base:0xeeee77bc7e82c0d4166d52f58239d4c5bf41eeee idea I've been thinking about.
With the 85% price guarantee, eligible holders can redeem their original allocation at $3.57 per token, and all redeemed tokens will be burned. Meanwhile, base:0xeeee77bc7e82c0d4166d52f58239d4c5bf41eeee is trading around $3.40 and even briefly dipped to $3 at one point.
So here's the idea: if you have spare capital and believe in Ethos long term, you could buy base:0xeeee77bc7e82c0d4166d52f58239d4c5bf41eeee on the market below $3.57 and then redeem your original allocation. You'd end up holding MORE tokens than before while permanently BURNING your original allocation.
And don't forget that some participants received substantial XP-based and referal bonuses, which could potentially offset the entire 15% loss from the guarantee. This means some holders could effectively re-enter with their full original position at a lower price without taking a net loss.
Of course, there are some catches. You'd need additional capital upfront since redemption isn't instant, and large market buys could push the price up through slippage. So you'd have to run the numbers carefully. Plus, your newly purchased tokens would no longer have price protection.
This is why I've been thinking about whales in particular. I've seen people invest $200K in the sale, and someone with that kind of allocation could potentially burn almost 0.5% of the total supply in a single move.
But this isn't just for whales. Anyone with an active price guarantee and enough spare capital could do the same, creating buying pressure while permanently reducing the supply.
Am I onto something here, or have I completely lost my mind?

INTRODUCING FREEDZ
What if the words we write freely are the things that imprison us?
FREEDZ is an 8,888-piece deflationary PFP collection exploring freedom, control, and the machines shaping our world.
A hidden world. A sacrificed word. A question.
Are we really free?
Here's the story:
Everyone is complaining about @ethos_network, but what if I told you they literally gave you a way to buy base:0xeeee77bc7e82c0d4166d52f58239d4c5bf41eeee with ZERO downside risk?
Let me explain using my own example:
> XP rewards: +11% in bonus tokens.
> Refbacks: +5.5% thanks to @aikendrummer's 100% refback offer.
> Vouch rewards: +1% from farming rewards for a month.
Total: +17.5% in bonus tokens vs 15% downside under the price guarantee.
The perfect play was simple:
Sell all the bonus tokens at just $4+ when trading started, lock in a small profit, and keep your entire original allocation with ZERO downside risk.
Guys, this was literally an IQ test.
And I kinda failed it myself, lol.
I messed up my sells and missed the highs, but still managed to keep over half my original allocation risk-free and earning around 8% APY. It's almost like earning yield on stables, except the upside is still unlimited.
And here's where it gets even more interesting:
> Every redemption burns tokens from the total supply.
> Every unvouch and market sale means giving up price protection, freeing up more resources for the team to keep building.
A win-win for both me and the team. Now I can just sit back, collect yield, and watch how things unfold.
Thank you, Ethos! Thank you, @serpinxbt!
As promised, 100% of the $WHUF refback has been sent to the wallets linked to your Ethos profiles.
Ethos everywhere!

> $10,486 was contributed by 6 of my referrals to the @ethos_network sale.
> Only 4 had an Ethos Score above 1300, meaning they qualified for the referral bonus.
Inspired by @aikendrummer, I decided to give my referrals 100% refback.

The 63.5273 $WHUF I received as a referral bonus will be distributed as shown below.
The tokens will be sent to your wallets on October 8, once they become transferable.

Not trying to FUD or anything. I usually don’t speak publicly about stuff like this because I don’t want to hurt other projects, but I ran a giveaway yesterday and obviously don’t want my community minting a scam NFT.
I had some doubts about this project from the beginning, but there were so many CT accounts posting about it and being bullish, so I started DMing the team and asked for spots for my community.
A couple things feel off to me.
First, the art looks VERY similar to bitcoin frogs. At first, I honestly thought this was the Bitcoin Frogs team, but I haven’t seen any evidence confirming that until now.
Then I just found out that they apparently copied @zec_bit’s website and changed the fee to $10/NFT, even though they initially said this was a free mint.
To everyone in my community who won the giveaway, please don’t mint for now until we get some clarification from the team. There’s already a lot of FUD around this, and I really don’t want any of you to lose money.
Hopefully the team can clarify everything soon

I just noticed that lately, Sorry for the people who did mint but @zaddrnet is literally @the1969ETH who rugged some months ago.
They didn't even bother to change traits or the style of Nfts, now they raised +50 Zec which is around $75,000
Those guys coming back to take our money again is honestly unacceptable, we really need to do better...
I really didn’t want to make this public.
But when a competing platform presents the tech as its own while its own frontend literally says “ZecBit” all over the code, I think people deserve an explanation.
These screenshots are from their own website.
Look closely.
Their own product references:
ZMD-1
zecbit-wallet-v3.js
noir-zecbit-link.js
window.noirZecBit
zecbit:*
zecbit-genesis
Their own protocol page literally has a section called “ZMD-1 Resolution”.
For context: ZMD-1 was created by @zec_bit
We designed it, built it and published it openly because we WANT other teams to use it.
But if you’re presenting yourself as a new infrastructure layer while your product is running on our standard, our naming and ZecBit-specific components, there’s a very simple question:
what exactly did you build yourselves?
Open source means use it.
Fork it.
Improve it.
Build on top of it.
It does not mean erase the origin and repackage the work like it appeared out of nowhere.
And if their implementation contains our MIT-licensed code, the required copyright/license notice needs to stay with it.
So before sending ZEC or minting through any new platform, do your own due diligence and look under the UI.
A new website doesn’t automatically mean new technology.
We built ZMD-1.
We built the infrastructure around it.
And now the receipts are sitting inside their own code.
We’re not asking them to disappear.
We’re asking them to explain it.
Credit the work.
Show the provenance.
Tell users what is actually yours.
Until then, the code speaks for itself. 🛡️

I’m actually feeling some serious FOMO over @standard_rsv
But let’s be real, the ones who really won were those who got WL. Cause I honestly don’t know what kind of bankroll you need to have the balls to ape into the public mint at 1.25 ETH.
What we have now:
> NFT sold out in 1 min
> $33M market cap
> Charter owners receive 1900 $STANDARD every epoch (72H)
It’s just a little sad realizing that an interesting opportunity flew right past you and you couldn’t catch the ride.
Congrats to all who minted 🔥
1000 Genesis Charters.
I only need one.

Knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
I’m still knocking.

I just vouched 650 $WHUF for @cobie on @ethos_network
What makes this particularly interesting is how closely the platforms he created are tied to important moments in Ethos history:
> The seed round was raised through Echo
> The public $WHUF sale was conducted through Sonar
Quite symbolic that someone who built one of the strongest reputations in crypto also created the tools that helped finance a project built around reputation and trust.

TGE is here, $WHUF is live 🔥
In total, I received 935.5 $WHUF however I’ll be giving 100% of the referral bonus back to my referrals.
So from the sale, I received 872 $WHUF including bonuses + 43.37 $WHUF in refback from @aikendrummer
That gives me a total of 915 $WHUF at an effective FDV of $36M.
Oh, and now I own 0.01% of the entire $WHUF supply 🥸
$4.20
As I mentioned earlier, we managed to see a $42M FDV on the $WHUF token sale, which ended up being right between the pre-seed and seed valuations.
I initially spent $3,300 for 786 $WHUF, but considering that I’m still due ~86 $WHUF from the XP pool + ~99 $WHUF in refback, my effective entry comes down to roughly a $34M FDV valuation, just $9M above the pre-seed valuation from 2024.
Looking forward to today’s TGE to see what @ethos_network has in store for us...
You can potentially buy $WHUF cheaper than
@ethos_network seed investors did.
> Pre-seed: ~$25M FDV
> Seed: likely ~$75-98M FDV
> Current clearing: $12M FDV
So depending on where the auction clears, you could potentially enter at a valuation below both previous rounds.
Here's why I think Seed was around $75M 👇
