Calling All Patriots We are on the forefront of pushing for America First. We are honored to host @RealJarTaylor for our last speaker event and open Q&A of the fall semester.
Working in conjunction with all the ultra-based guys and gals over at the Georgia Gwinnett College, the 1903 Club is proud to partner with the @GGCCRs to bring the great @RealJarTaylor to Atlanta. Look at that handsome face. It's hard to imagine that such a charming man causes so much fuss. Be there or be opposed to Freedom of Speech on Campus. In memory of Charlie Kirk, you must attend. @BuchananEndH1B @realAmRen @vdare luma.com/8jidekyu

We are sold out for the upcoming Jeff Deist event in December. Thank you everyone for your support and belief that a first rate supper/speaker dinner club is just the remedy for a civilizational collapse. We are taking registrations for a waitlist in case someone cannot attend (that certainly happens when we are 60 days out), but we insist of recognizing Dunbar's Layers, so the number is capped. We look forward to seeing you all. WAGMI @jeffdeist @OldGloryClub @StonewallFellow @PaleoGOP @exit_org @BuchananEndH1B luma.com/hrvj8yq7

The foundation of a healthy economy: average people can save money via thrift without having to chase yield (number go up) and without having to fear constant devaluation.
Replying to @GeorgeSelgin
There is, of course, a concept of simply saving money (not investing), which is a perfectly reasonable and desirable thing for most people to do. Today, one cannot simply save money (the thing you are calling a bad investment) because of perpetual inflation/money creation/bailouts. This makes saving money a losing game. You apparently hold the belief that people willfully choose to hold investments rather than simply saving money. This is absolutely false, and it shows how wildly out of touch you are with the average person. But you are an academic, so perhaps that should be expected. The average person wants to do their job and save money (in the form of a money that maintains its purchasing power). The average person has no interest in becoming an amateur portfolio manager on nights and weekends. The average person doesn't want to perpetually buy ETFs, stocks, and new pieces of real estate just to keep the wealth they *already* earned. Again, if you cannot comprehend these things, you are simply out of touch with the vast majority of the population. Your free banking theory has some giant holes it in. Your beloved free fractional reserve banks are not stable. They are prone to bank runs and financial crises. And when those inevitable runs and crises happen, what do you expect politicians/central bankers to do? Just sit by and tell Grandma and Aunt Sally that they lost all their money but they should have been better credit analysts? Of course this is not what happens. Instead we get the cycle of broad money creation followed by bailouts and base money creation, repeat ad infinitum. Then people like you try to rationalize it away by saying "oh of course people don't hold bank money because it's not a good investment." Total nonsense. The forest is beautiful, George. You might be able to see it one day if not for those pesky trees.

I’m only a Republican because almost all the historic Jefferson-Jackson Democrats died in the civil right flood of 1964. If I had to pick a modern Georgia politician that best represents my views, I’d choose Larry McDonald without hesitation. Read ‘em and weep, we’ll never see his like again. I added a nice Grok summary of his legislative accomplishments in the comments section.

He is also an exceptional orator and an all-around honorable man of the right. Did you know that voter and NCOA data suggest that tens of thousands of unqualified voters are casting ballots in our elections? Election integrity expert, Mark Davis, is coming to Georgia Gwinnett College on October 21st to provide a full update on where things stand on secure elections, and answer the question as to why tens of thousands of unqualified ballots are being cast in Georgia elections. Mark is a Georgia election-data analyst and president of Data Productions, Inc. He has worked voter files in this state since 1986 — starting when his father, Guy Davis, was the Republican nominee for governor — and has spent four decades building and scrubbing the rolls campaigns actually use. He has served as an analyst and expert witness in disputed-election cases, testified before Georgia General Assembly subcommittees, sits on the Georgia Republican Party’s Election Confidence Task Force, and writes on election administration for The Federalist. After 2020 he ran National Change of Address matching against the official voter file and has argued, in complaints to the State Election Board and in court work, that tens of thousands of ballots were cast by people who no longer lived in the county where they voted. Come hear a practitioner walk the data, the law, and what he says still has to be fixed before the next cycle — not a cable-news recap, the underlying records. luma.com/3447iq0t
