Nolan is talking about dissident republicans using drones. Meanwhile, a massive weapons haul is discovered on the Shankill Rd. BBCNI’s media framing problem remains an elephant in the room.

On 31st Oct at 2.15am my life changed in the best way possible - we added a wee woman to the family🥹 Everybody, meet baby Éala who came into this world at 7.6lbs. Everything went as well as they could & both mammy & baby are healthy as can be.

The comments by DUP leader Gavin Robinson today were arrogant and supremacist. The DUP is consumed with their own internal leadership troubles and divisions. They are in turmoil. The days of domination and supremacy are over. The days of treating people like second class citizens are over. There will be no going back. Not now, and not ever. I, as First Minister, will be at the Assembly on Monday morning, along with Sinn Féin’s Ministers, to continue our work. We will keep showing up every day for people.

Considering this video shows the OO walking through a shared space unrestricted and being enjoyed by supporters, it further begs the questions of why they feel its necessary to walk through a nationalist residential area....
Parade underway in Portadown. Thousands have turned up in support of local Orangemen who want to march along the Garvaghy Road. @UTVNews

Be clear what this is: A senior DUP politician wants to collapse the govt cause an extremist Protestant group wasn’t able to parade through a Catholic area in a majority Protestant town. Supremacist thinking recognised for what it is the world over.
DUP MP @carlalockhart has addressed thousands at a rally in Portadown this evening. “Profound consequences must mean profound consequences . Michelle O’Neill must go. That’s where I stand and this lady is not for turning.” Read more : bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c6eq…

If your confidence is premised upon a demand Catholics be dragged from a road so a sectarian & triumphalist parade can be forced through, then perhaps the issue is your expectation of a police service in a divided society no longer dominated & controlled by unionism.

I am honoured to have been selected as Sinn Féin’s Strangford candidate for the Assembly election. There has never been a Nationalist MLA in Strangford. You can change that next May. Together, let’s do it. Let’s make history and elect the first Sinn Féin MLA ever in Strangford.

The GAA was vital in the cultural rebirth of the Irish nation & shouldn’t be dulled or changed to placate anyone. Play it, or don’t. It’s up to you. If Irish symbolism offends you that much then maybe it’s not the game for you 👍🏼
Just passed a GAA match and I often think to myself, what other sport claims to be “inclusive” and open to everyone, but flys a national flag at it when it’s not even an international match. The answer, none? To my knowledge.

Replying to @carlalockhart
I tell you what Carla, thats some brass neck, lecturing anyone about criminality, terrorism or the rule of law. At Scarva, your own barrister reportedly claimed you attended at the PSNI’s request, yet the PSNI subsequently disputed that any such invitation had been issued, so a blatant lie. That contradiction deserves a proper explanation, but you get to dodge that one, as the DUP don’t seem to think morality applies to them Now you are. demanding accountability over republican paramilitarism. But tell me this Carla, where’s the same relentless scrutiny of the UVF and UDA, their control of drug dealing in NI , extortion, intimidation and the grip they maintain on loyalist communities? And this is precisely the double standard the DUP needs to answer for. Why does its rhetoric about paramilitaries so often appear to depend on whether the organisation is republican or loyalist? Why are nationalist residents’ concerns dismissed while loyalist objections receive an entirely different hearing? Carla you fit so. comfortably into a DUP political tradition that critics argue views these issues through a sectarian lens. The Chief Constable has a duty to protect every community, not deliver the policing outcomes demanded by one political party. You party are pushing society towards things that were left in the past, we hoped forgotten, but the DUP is never one to miss an opportunity, here you are shoulder to shoulder with your colleagues on the wrong side of history again. Your community deserve better

Think this is being taken out of context a wee bit. While it’s sad to see he thinks that way, it’s more an example of the problem within men in relation to seeking therapy. That’s why so many men go on to take their own lives. He’s not necessarily wrong for this imo.
James McClean has genuinely said he thinks therapy is a sign of weakness in men Simply, that is a disgusting, disgraceful thing to say Asking for help is the strongest thing a man can do, shame on McClean for thinking otherwise…

One thing I can be almost certain about the bomb threats sent to schools around Derry, and in Inishowen last week, is that it didn’t come from any follower of Islam.

I was with a school lately who have been told by the EA to wait almost a year for a replacement mobile classroom after the roof collapsed - kids now have to be taught in the food hall next to the school kitchen Yet they want to gift £30,000 to a soccer club This is a scandal
The head of the Education Authority has provided a belated explanation about the proposed allocation of £30,000 to a football team, claiming that an email from the Department of Education was “never received” due to a typo. belfasttelegraph.co.uk/news/… belfasttelegraph.co.uk/news/…

Not even joking, I think we should all stop watching & listening to Stephen Nolan's show. He thrives off division. He perpetuates it. And gets a exorbitant salary at our expense for doing so. #NolanLive
