YOUR BUSINESS DESERVES A SPOT AT API SHIELD SUMMIT 1.0.
Not just as an attendee, as a brand people can see, interact with, and remember.
If you’re building a startup, running a small business, offering a tech service, or selling a product, we’re opening a limited number of business promotion slots for the upcoming API Shield Summit 1.0 in Lagos.
Here’s what you get:
🔹 Your brand logo on the event backdrop
🔹 Your logo & business name on our promotional materials
🔹 Your business featured on the official event website
🔹 A physical booth/stand where you can showcase, market, or sell your products/services
🔹 The opportunity to meet and interact with developers, cybersecurity professionals, founders, tech enthusiasts, and other business owners
Think of it as an opportunity to take your business from being seen online to being seen in the room.
And you don’t need to be a big company to participate. Startups and growing businesses are welcome.
We’re keeping the support fee affordable because the goal is to give more businesses an opportunity to gain visibility and connect with the right people.
But there’s a catch: we have limited slots, and we’re working with a short timeline.
Once the available spaces are taken, we’ll have to close the opportunity.
Interested in getting your business involved?
Send me a DM and I’ll share the available options and details.
Know a business that should be here? Tag them.
Let’s give businesses in our community a platform to be seen, heard, and connected.

There were days I genuinely wanted to give up on crAPI.
What looked like a simple vulnerable API lab turned into weeks of troubleshooting, failed tests, expired OTPs, broken requests, Docker issues, Burp Suite, Postman, ffuf, and countless moments of wondering, “What am I doing wrong?”
Some vulnerabilities worked exactly as expected. Others didn’t. Sometimes the problem was my methodology. Other times it was understanding how the application behaved. Every setback forced me to slow down, research, test again, and think differently.
Looking back now, I’m grateful it took longer than I expected.
Because of that process, I didn’t just complete a lab, I understood the OWASP API Security Top 10 and even explored vulnerabilities beyond it, including NoSQL Injection and business logic flaws.
I documented every single finding, the successful exploits, the endpoints that weren’t vulnerable, the dead ends, the mistakes I made, and the lessons I learned along the way. Every challenge became part of the learning process.
I’ll be sharing this milestone together with my API Penetration Testing Certificate of Completion.
crAPI is complete.
Next stop: vAPI.
The journey to becoming continues..

Completed the OWASP API Security Top 10 course from @apisecu
Over the coming days, I’ll be studying each OWASP API Top 10 vulnerability, explaining how it works, how to identify it, and demonstrating it using vulnerable labs like crAPI.
First up: API1 – Broken Object Level Authorization (BOLA).
