Can tornadoes exist on other planets or moons? 🌕🌪
Absolutely. If a planet or moon has an atmosphere along with other conditions, it can produce a tornado. Some of the mechanisms for their development might be different.
Caveat: this is not true of all systems with an atmosphere. For example, Mars has a thin atmosphere, and dust devils have been reported, but not a tornado.
