At Nuremberg, American judges had to teach the Soviet judges about concepts such as “innocent until proven guilty.” The Soviets saw the trials as simply being about whether the accused went to the gulags or were taken out back with a pistol.
Most people aren’t prepared to learn just how different their cultures are from others, let alone realize the implications.

Visited London for the first time in quite a while. Harrowing experience…
1. They’re lying about the numbers. The next census is going to be absolutely barbaric reading.
2. Things are far worse than most people outside of London could possibly imagine.
The entire city has been turned into a middle Easter bazaar and a sub continental slop market.

the far right are homosexuals who pretend to be straight
the far left are heterosexuals who pretend to be gay
the issue is that a lot of the far right is now coming out of the closet, synthesizing 100-proof misogyny and homo-attraction

France’s Prime Minister sent a letter to Orange, SFR, Free and Bouygues telling them to prepare to block TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram and X for up to 12 hours if protests flared again. He asked them to keep it confidential.
The government wanted the order delivered privately to each company, with nothing in the official journal. The public would get a press release 30 minutes before the block went live.
It was the operators’ lawyers who asked whether shutting down four platforms nationwide was necessary or proportionate. Orange insisted on a formal, signed order.
France’s top administrative court ruled the 2024 TikTok block in New Caledonia illegal last year. The government drew up a bigger one anyway. Staff were on call all weekend. Nobody pulled the switch this time, but they built it ready for the next one.

Genuinely why is Trump getting gayer and gayer as we get closer to Election Day

Trump’s DOJ has been trying to figure out how to rob Americans of their votes in the midterms since February. Trump also suggested OMB director Russ Vought might be working on something to this end. I hope states are ready to fight and resist the admin. These freaks aren’t just going to let Americans vote their way out of this if they think they can do something about it.

Governments keep telling us ID checks will make the internet safer. Here is what an ID check actually did for a woman in Pennsylvania.
Cash App demanded Social Security numbers to stop fraud. Hers leaked in a data breach, a scammer opened an account with it, and the police arrested her for his crime. She spent three nights in jail. Cash App now refuses to show her the account because she can’t prove it’s hers, which is exactly what she has been telling them.
Every ID check builds another vault of stolen identities waiting to happen. The more of them we’re forced through, the easier fraud gets, and the people paying for it are the ones who did everything they were told.

Very odd the fact that the President’s left hemisphere is disintegrating in real time isn’t receiving any scrutiny from those journalists who wrote 10,000-word articles any time Biden stuttered.

40% of patients suffering from dementia have “VBD” (vocally disruptive behavior)
They are sudden, disruptive and surprising to the patient.
Which is why he seems stunned for a moment.
The reason they keep giving him the MoCA test, is they know he is in severe cognitive decline.
He is a national security risk.
To 'protect the kids', the UK made adults go through facial scans and ID checks.
Ofcom has now released their report which notes 'No significant change' in what children see online.
So the new plan is obviously....MORE banned categories, and device level ID checks.
When surveillance fails, the answer is always more surveillance 😡

Ofcom admits there’s been "no significant change" in children encountering harmful material since the Online Safety Act came into force.
The law created giant digital ID honeypots and rampant censorship - while failing to stop harm.
The left fell into a Tory surveillance trap by backing content prohibition over platform accountability. Why are we now expanding a broken law into subjective topics like "depression" and "body image"?
It’s time for a total rethink - which must start with Labour scrapping the Online Safety Act.

UK speech regulator Ofcom wants the power to block websites in the UK before it has finished investigating them. Its chief executive compared this to putting a prisoner on remand. The website is the prisoner, and nobody has proved it did anything.
The regulator also wants a lower bar for court orders that cut sites off from payment providers, ad networks, search engines and ISPs. It wants “proactive technology” to detect illegal content too. That category includes foreign interference, which UK law says can be committed by presenting information misleadingly even when all of it is true.
Ofcom admits it can’t collect most of the fines it hands to companies abroad. Its answer is more power.
Then MPs got to VPNs. The committee chair worried teenagers would dodge the under-16 social media ban. Dawes said there isn’t much anyone can do “short of taking action against VPNs” and called that a decision for the government.

In case you missed it: #Ofcom are proposing to ban open access to content by Joy Division, Pink Floyd The Wall, Nine Inch Nails, and anything pertaining to goth subculture; also #dysphoria forums and anything discussing body "wrongness.
I wish this were a joke: #Ofcom are going to ban "Being #Goth" under the #OnlineSafetyAct
Like: how much music will this wipe off of YouTube?
How many dark Ian Curtis jokes will be censored?

This is fucking insane.
It reads like a bad spy novel. The corruption is almost cartoonish at this point.
The GRU hacked into Jared Kushner's iPhone. Dutch military intelligence (MIVD) then recruited a GRU spy who gave them access to the hacked phone. What MIVD discovered was that Kushner had access to two bank accounts --one Azerbaijani, the other Israeli --where Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Emirati ruler Mohammed bin Zayed deposited money. It sounds like a slightly far-fetched episode of "Slow Horses," but it's real. And it proves just how eye-poppingly corrupt this administration was and continues to be as its "special envoy" decides the fate of tens of millions in Europe in the Middle East. Simply incredible reporting by Matthew Cole, drawn from his new book on Kushner. vanityfair.com/story/jared-k…
