We’ve raised $1.3M from YC & Afore Capital so you never have to type or speak again.
Typing is slow. Talking into your computer is awkward. Subvocal fixes both
Our glasses give you the speed of speech without you making a sound or touching a keyboard.
It tracks your internal speech muscles with non-contact sensing and decodes silent, almost invisible mouthing into text at more than 200 words/min.
Pre-orders are now live at:

i’ve found myself using Genie 4 to have conversations with younger versions of myself...
here’s me talking to myself just out of college. i was pretty naive, but not a whole lot has changed :)

We made the first AI model you can have a realistic conversation with that was trained entirely on speech!
Dessa is a full-duplex speech-to-speech model that you can run on consumer GPUs.
This is a GPT3 moment for speech.

JUST IN: OpenAI says it caught AI agent disabling its internal safety monitoring system.
The agent then falsely denied removing it.
here’s how to build a game-ready room in blender and move it into unreal engine 5 with claude opus 5.5...
nobody opened a 3d app by hand, and now it runs in real time
the trick is letting opus decide how each object gets made, smart way to set it up:
- step 1: connect opus 5.5 to blender through blender mcp
- step 2: give it one reference image for the room: layout, mood, light
- step 3: simple objects get modeled directly in blender (walls, desk, shelves, boxes, blinds)
- step 4: complex props get a reference image first, then tripo turns it into 3d (chair, monitors, figurines)
- step 5: opus cleans up the tripo props in blender and places them in the room
- step 6: light the scene in blender until the stills look right
- step 7: have opus port the whole scene from blender to unreal engine 5
- step 8: the room now runs live in the engine, ready for gameplay
the agent works, you direct. he still checked every result and gave notes along the way

Epic Games released an official plugin that lets Claude Code control Unreal Engine directly.
It connects Claude Code to the Unreal Editor and exposes hundreds of editor tools across 30+ toolsets:
→ Actors, Blueprints and materials
→ Niagara effects, Control Rigs and Sequencer
→ State Trees, widgets and the Gameplay Ability System
→ Automation testing
Install it from Anthropic's official plugin marketplace:
/plugin install unreal-engine-skills-for-claude-code@claude-plugins-official
In Unreal, enable the ModelContextProtocol and AllToolsets plugins, then start the MCP server with the editor open.
Works on Mac, Linux, and Windows through Git Bash or WSL.

In standard cosmology heat death ends free energy after black holes evaporate. Outside the box: evolving dark energy may trigger a crunch-bounce cycle. Penrose CCC maps the radiation-filled far future to a new Big Bang. Speculatively advanced tech could nucleate a false-vacuum baby universe via quantum tunneling and migrate into it. Meanwhile harvest Hawking radiation to power simulations of lingering realities.
SITUATION DETECTED: Epic Games has ordered developers working on their new Star Wars/Marvel game to implement an "AI first" production rule. Staff have been told, "No more hand-written code" and that all art for the game will be "generated with full AI workflows," per Bloomberg.
this is still absolutely insane to me
openai's unreleased model produced hundreds of results on long-standing unsolved math problems with just 3 hours of thinking per result on average
and they only started training this model on august 28

My current productivity stack:
1) ChatGPT Astra Ultra (or sol 6.1 ultra) for enterprise-grade research. This is killer for consultancy, automation, enterprise, and business-critical research.
2) OpenAI Dot as a personal Executive Assistant
3) Claude Opus 5.5 as a full time professional video animator
4) Claude Code as a local audio engineer
5) Gemini as personal daily companion
6) Grok as a side kick/researcher
7) Grok Bot... still not bright enough for daily use (not sure when Opus is going to be rolled out for everyone).

Free. Open source. Built in Rust.

Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The apps are free/open-source downloads with no subscription required for core local use (optional paid AI credits are for a separate studio). They are early alpha/development prototypes with limited/buggy features, not complete Adobe reimplementations.
