America’s corporate governance system is broken, and it’s killing public companies. Look no further than Cracker Barrel: Decades of brutal mismanagement have seen one incompetent CEO after another walk away with a massive paycheck while customers and actual shareholders take a beating.
Why does this keep happening? Because proxy advisory firms like ISS are corrupt. They blindly rubber-stamp failing boards year after year, protecting the corporate elite while burning shareholder value to the ground.
The root of the rot is index funds. There's no question that indexing one's money is a smart financial move for most people. But just because you passively index your investments doesn't mean your corporate votes should be handed over to the managers of your fund so they can play politics. Right now, passive funds hold massive, unchecked voting blocks while having zero skin in the game themselves.
It is time for a simple rewrite of the rules: We need to index the votes of index fund investors.
Passive index funds should be forced to automatically split their votes to proportionately mirror those of retail and active institutional shareholders — the people actually doing the research, risking their capital, and fighting for performance in the companies they hold shares in. No more rubber-stamping. A change like this will immediately strip corrupt gatekeepers like ISS of their toxic influence.
True accountability happens when lazy, overpaid boards actually answer to the stakeholders they represent, rather than screwing them over.
Actual, logic-driven governance when your money is passive happens when your vote passively follows the voting decisions of the actual market.
We need to stop letting passive capital protect active incompetence. By stripping index funds of their arbitrary voting power and empowering engaged investors, we will finally torch corporate cronyism and usher American capital markets into a golden age of capitalism.

Good morning Catholics and supporters. We are making this announcement as an update of what’s going on.
1) Current status
We are strictly online for now. This X account is our only official channel. No website, other social apps, or 501(c)(3) as of today.
We are rolling a website and Instagram page soon. Standby for those, but until announced, this is our only official network.
There is no chapter network and no mass membership. Do not found one in our name. We will organize those in due time. Any independent efforts to organize outside of our official structure will only cause confusion and will jeopardize the effort.
We are not taking donations yet.
Any public page, group, or chapter claiming to be us that this account has not named is an imposter.
2) What we are
A society of baptized Catholics. Nonpartisan, in full communion with the Bishop of Rome and our diocesan bishop.
We exist to recall the Church’s full teaching on migration (CCC 2241), and to seek reform of how that teaching is applied by Catholic institutions in the United States.
3) What we are doing
Several public figures have reached out to collaborate. We are working those conversations daily. We will announce what is real when it is real.
Near-term aim: 1–3 contacts in each diocese, then conversation with bishops and local officials. Not a protest tour or a reactionary online movement.
We are looking for help from people with a specific skill (writing, design, law, local knowledge). If you believe we can work together, our DMs are open for now until we establish an official communication network.
We are also looking for someone to create a professional logo and banner for us. Our DMs are open.
4) How this account will run
We will not be posting frequently. The point is dialogue inside the Church. There are already thousands of accounts on here voicing their opinions on the Papacy, USCCB, and the Church, sometimes charitably and sometimes not. Our goal is not to become one more.
Things are moving. If you want to help, share the teaching and DM a short note with what you can actually do.
5) What we’ve done
We have met with collaborators from 7 states across the country, and are working to establish contact in every diocese. We have also garnered interest in Europe and Canada.
6) What to expect
Do not expect to hear from this account on a daily basis.
Do not expect to see us in the comment section of the Pope’s or the USCCB’s tweets.
Do not expect us to align with your ideal niche political movement.
Do not expect “takes” from this account.
DO expect us to grow across the country as we expand our network of collaborators.
DO expect us to eventually meet with local officials and Catholic leaders.
DO expect things to move slow for a while.
DO expect professional, directed dialogue with everyone we engage with in the public sphere.
DO expect GREAT things!

Fervo Prediction - Megathread
Alright. Here’s my guess on how the enhanced geothermal thing plays out. A focus on Fervo given they’re the only public name in the space. $FRVO
Before I get into it, just have to say - I hope this plays out differently than I think it will. I do hope it works. The world will be a better place if it does.
But the reality is, at this pivotal moment in time, missed deadlines on power delivered has a larger impact than just “dinging” the companies responsible for the misses. So, rigorous critique is necessary.
My view is a company like Fervo and enhanced geothermal is wildly more uncertain than anybody realizes. And yes, this means companies like Google, a search engine company, doesn’t quite understand the technical dynamics of a power plant that is 8000’ below the surface. So, here’s my best guess on how Fervo plays out. It is the ultimate case of building a plane while flying it.
— 2026 —
2026: Fervo continues to show a good hand prior to any projects coming online. The story sounds good when the go-to metric is drilling days per well vs actual volumes of power delivered. The show starts when those electrons are expected to flow.
— 2027 —
2027: First power from their first project is delayed by a few months due to things largely out of their control. Not a huge deal. People largely look past it. Actual operational issues aren’t mentioned until the project comes online.
1H 2027: Once the project is technically online, reaching “full capacity” will also be delayed. But this time the delay is longer (6-12 months) due to a mix of unforeseen downhole issues (well issues, circulation issues, water loss issues) and surface issues. The downhole issues will be downplayed due to the lack of insight and investor understanding. The surface issues will be harder to downplay (investors can see and understand this better, thus more questions). The focus will be to direct attention on the parts of their project that work (the occasional spot rates of good deliverability). You will not hear about total production over a quarter or forecast for the year, or any project level costs. Expect actual production to be 50% of what was expected. Think “we exceeded our nameplate capacity this week” instead of saying “we expect to deliver 42% of our nameplate capacity for the year and spent an extra $200 mil to do that”.
2H 2027, market has turned from elated at the potential of EGS to now spooked. Fervo says they’ve identified the issue and have learned how to fix it.
2H 2027: The initial project continues to perform at <50% of expected power production while the “fix” is in the works. And again, this refers to total power produced over a long period. Beware of the company reporting spot rates. They try to focus attention on the next project while the first project limps along. They have moments of strong deliverability (days/weeks), but actual quarterly power delivered is nowhere near what was promised.
2H 2027: The “fix” (as communicated, not reality) drill new wells and hope that works (they promise it will). What few wells they do have online and producing, some must be shut down during drilling and completions of the new wells for safety and operational reasons. Project power goes down even more during these fixes (12+ months)
FY 2027: Project produces a total of < 50% of the expected power, and due to the additional cost of the fixes they are > 50% over budget. Meanwhile, the next project is being drilled. None of these numbers will be communicated clearly. It is up to investors to ask these questions directly.

Last night the seven members of the #McKinney #Texas #CityCouncil @CityOfMcKinney unanimously approved the Hamas/Muslim Brotherhood org McKinney Islamic Association's request for expansion of its terrorist organization in Texas. This afternoon I filed an official report with @TxDPS along with supporting documents. The text of the report follows:
"In November 2025 Texas Governor Greg Abbott designated the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist organization in Texas. In the Governor's 11/18/25 press release he stated, in part: "The Muslim Brotherhood and CAIR have long made their goals clear: to forcibly impose Sharia law and establish Islam’s ‘mastership of the world...The actions taken by the Muslim Brotherhood and CAIR to support terrorism across the globe and subvert our laws through violence, intimidation, and harassment are unacceptable. Today, I designated the Muslim Brotherhood and CAIR as foreign terrorist organizations and transnational criminal organizations." Evidence in the largest terrorism financing trial ever successfully prosecuted in US history--US v Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development, Northern District of Texas, 2008--reveals CAIR is one of four Hamas organizations created by the US Muslim Brotherhood's Palestine Committee. Hamas is an inherent part of the Muslim Brotherhood and a designated Foreign Terrorist Organization by the US government. The Muslim Brotherhood's by-laws states, in part: "The Muslim Brotherhood is an international body which seeks to establish Allah's law (sharia) in the land...The Islamic nation must be fully prepared to fight the tyrants and enemies of Allah as a prelude to establishing an Islamic State." The McKinney Islamic Association is a Hamas/Muslim Brotherhood organization that partners with CAIR and other MB organizations across Texas and the US. Last night (8/5/26) Justin Beller, Patrick Cloutier, Gere Feltus, Rick Franklin, Michael Jones, Bill Cox, and Ernest Lynch--all members of the McKinney City Council--approved the expansion project for this Hamas/MB organization. Per Texas State Code (sos.texas.gov/elections/form…) all seven members of the McKinney City Council swore an oath to protect and defend the Texas and US Constitutions against all enemies foreign and domestic. By directly and unanimously supporting the expansion of Hamas/Muslim Brotherhood organization McKinney Islamic Association, the McKinney City Council stands in violation of their oaths as well as several state laws.
Under Texas State Code, it is my contention these individuals are subject to the following statutes:
Penal Code Section 76.02: Terrorism
(a) A person commits an offense if the person: commits or conspires to commit that offense with the intent to: (A) intimidate or coerce the public or a substantial group of the public; or (B) influence, by intimidation or coercion, the policy, conduct, or activities of this state, a political subdivision of this state, or the United States.
Penal Code Section 76.03: Aiding in Commission of Terrorism
(a) A person commits an offense if the person intentionally raises, solicits, collects, or provides material support or resources with intent or knowledge that the material support or resources will be used, wholly or partly, to solicit, direct, supervise, plan, prepare, promote, carry out, assist, or aid in committing an offense under Section 76.02.
Gov't Code Section 557.001: Sedition
(a) A person commits an offense if the person knowingly: (1) commits, attempts to commit, or conspires with one or more persons to commit an act intended to overthrow, destabilize, destroy, or alter the constitutional form of government of this state or of any political subdivision of this state by force, violence, or a threat of force or violence.
It stands without further comment the McKinney Islamic Association should be shut down, its finances and property seized, and its leaders arrested for the abovementioned offenses as well.
Additionally, the McKinney Islamic Association openly teaches strict adherence to Islamic sharia and accepts zakat donations on its website at the link us.mohid.co/tx/dallas/mia/ma…. All authoritatively published sharia mandates that zakat donations go to eight specific categories. The seventh categories is "Islamic Military Operations" which Texas and US code legally refer to as "terrorism." This is yet another avenue of investigation and prosecution for the McKinney Islamic Association and the seven members of the McKinney City Council."

Yesterday, I made a light-hearted post about the real estate market in Collin County, TX.
The overwhelming majority of the comments section asked me why we can't go faster, why we can't just round them all up and deport them all.
We have a county and a state that are pioneers in mortgage fraud investigations. They were able to find thousands of suspected mortgage fraud cases based on a list of 150-200 in a matter of weeks. The issue is that these fraud networks spread a lot wider than expected. This one state found suspected mortgage fraud cases in 5 states, including in states that don't border it. They were able to use suspected fraud networks of Indian immigrants to find suspected mortgage fraud cases in the African community. These numbers were accurate in May 2026, and it is possible that they are even higher now.
Investigations such as these can take 1 to 3 years. This is a suspected multi-state criminal enterprise.
It would be beneficial for immigration restrictionists to let prosecutors do their job and obtain criminal convictions for those involved. Fraud for amounts above $10,000 is considered a Crime Involving Moral Turpitude (CIMT). Foreign nationals convicted of a CIMT must be deported under 8 U.S.C. § 1227 and INA § 237(a)(2)(A)(i). It also makes a naturalized citizen eligible for denaturalization if the crime happened before they took the oath of allegiance. It also comes with a lifetime ban from the United States.
Now, imagine 10,000 H-1B visa holders (if not more) facing these consequences.
If you are one of these people complaining on X about the migrant invasion, what are you doing to help get people deported? You have a couple of options here.
1. Are you looking for a job?
@ICEgov is hiring! You can learn more about job postings here: ice.gov/join
@USCIS is hiring! You can look at their job postings here: uscis.usajobs.gov/search/res…
My good friends at the @StateDept are also hiring! You can look at their job postings here: usajobs.gov/search/results/?…
2. Are you in Georgia?
Reach out to @McClellanforGA, who is setting up an election-integrity task force to identify illegal political donations, voter registrations, and individuals who illegally voted.
3. Are you in neither of these situations?
Contact your local GOP and set up your own election integrity task force. The number of cases is overwhelming to the point that you will need a team of people.
As you can see, this is a numbers game. If we join forces and assist the US government in finding those cases, we can make deportations go a lot faster.

Update on the H-1B visa holders donating to federal political campaigns - July 22 2026
We are now at 36 cases, and we are doing that solely by matching the names of suspected H-1B landlords to the FEC database. We have close to 2,000 names, so we have a large sample. We looked through 25-30% of the list.
With a much larger sample size, the 80/20 split between Democrats and Republicans was plain wrong. It is more like 95/5. The more recently arrived H-1B visa holders are more likely to support the democrats, and more likely to support DSA-affiliated candidates compared to the average American. We found more than one Bernie Bro.
Moreover, we found one Pakistani citizen who donated to Kamala Harris in 2019. The issue of foreign nationals donating to political candidates is not limited to Indian nationals.
