That means to date, they have burned 9.7b, they are growing at a rapid pace, and are profitable on an operating income basis as of the June quarter! This is likely the most efficient scaling of a business in the history of capitalism.

🛑 Aramco is close to securing a $10bn loan facility with multiple international banks to bolster liquidity amid Middle East conflict risks to oil exports, sources said. The revolving credit line is expected to be signed in the coming weeks and will be syndicated among banks including Citigroup, HSBC, JP Morgan and MUFG. Pricing is expected at SOFR +60bps.

🛑 Anthropic has secured an additional $77 billion in financing from Google, Amazon and Broadcom. Amazon’s funding is tied to compute-capacity milestones; Google’s $20 billion commitment is partly contingent on Anthropic meeting specified revenue targets. The deals follow earlier multi-billion-dollar investments by hyperscale cloud providers that have supplied capital and compute capacity while competing with the startup. Google and Amazon have together invested tens of billions of dollars to date and are now Anthropic’s largest shareholders.
