Article 35 (1) Every citizen has the right of access to information held by the State. Article 35 (3): The State SHALL publish and publicise any important information affecting the nation. Disclosure of information is a Constitutional imperative not something left to the whims of one person. The era of secretive deals negotiated in the dark will end when we kick this current regime out and return our country back to the rule of Law.

Is this actually true??
Arne Slot on throw-ins “If you take the goal from the throw-in away, the game ends 2-2. Brentford had no intention of playing football.”

The people of Nyanza did not also fall for state propaganda about the "dangerous nature of Kikuyus, Merians and the people of Embu. They instead hid them in their homes, created safe passage for those who were fleeing to Uganda.
If you hear me say Kisumu was there at our lowest, this is what I mean.

We will mourn Raila Odinga like we never had any differences with him. We will mourn him not because he was always good to us, but because the democracy we enjoy today stands on his shoulders. He bears the scars, and he deserves the credit.🕊️

I terribly wish the casket below was carrying the remains of William Kipchirchir Samoei arap Ruto (I am using all known names so that we don't have to start dancing about which William Ruto I am talking about). I wish him death. He should die for Kenya to be free.
A University student was today charged at the Milimani Law Courts with publishing false information by posting an image of a funeral procession featuring a casket covered with the Kenyan flag escorted by military officers in ceremonial uniform. The court heard that David Oaga Mokaya shared the said image on his X account, "Landlord @bozgabi," with the caption suggesting it showed President William Ruto's body being transported. It is alleged the accused person fabricated the date to make the post appear authentic. The offense is said to have been committed on November 13, 2024, at an unknown location within the Republic of Kenya. Mokaya pleaded not guilty to the charges before Senior Principal Magistrate Benmark Ekhumbi. The court granted the accused person a bond of KSh 100,000 with an alternative cash bail of KSh 50,000. The case is scheduled for mention on December 4, 2024. #HakiNaUsawa

I have been reflecting on the role of the three arms of government and the need for each arm to shield the other from taking on mandates separated by the Constitution. When Courts are invited to deal with political questions presented in a legal nature, there is an inevitable risk of being drawn into perceptions that plague political play. Although this is a problem as we see in jurisdictions that require some political jurisdiction from their Apex courts, we must and indeed do approach every issue with a legal lens. It is important that political institutions exhaust all political solutions and only turn to courts as a matter of last resort. The creation of the broad-based government after the disputed 2022 elections is testament that political solutions to political problems is possible. Although courts remain ready to delve into complex legal issues arising out of political processes, we must require all institutions to exhaust constitutional alternative dispute resolution avenues to strengthen the cohesion in our society.

The new president of Botswana wants an engaged citizenry. He’s aware that they may even be enraged but he welcomes it. In some countries, enraged citizens are called criminals and accused of trying to burn down the country

Ruto does things that go completely against the will of the people but insists he'll continue doing them because he deems it right. Methinks he forgot he's our representative and not demigod 🤦
