🟠ANTHONY ALBANESE FACES ANOTHER VIRAL DISASTER OVER TIKTOK SKIT JOKING ABOUT REINSTATING STUDENT HECS DEBT🟠
Albanese has turned Labor's $16 billion student debt relief into a comedy punchline, starring in a viral sketch with Swag on the Beat where he threatens to reinstate a young man's HECS debt.
The strategy backfired instantly in the comment section. While Albanese invaded TikTok to reach youth demographics, including teenagers who attend anti Hanson protests but are not even old enough to vote, actual followers slammed the stunt.
The top comment on Instagram, with nearly 11,000 likes, called him out directly: "We got PM in a skit before we got PM taking accountability". Treating $16 billion of taxpayer money as a joke while pushing social media censorship laws exposes total hypocrisy.

So you acknowledge that they exclude data that would sell above reserve, but publish data that sells below vendor expectations?
Thanks for affirming my initial tweet.
This isn’t insight, it’s cherry picking nonsense.

Australia’s top tax rate of 47% kicks in on an income that still would not allow you to afford a mortgage on the median home in Sydney.
So the government calls you rich but you cannot afford to buy an AVERAGE house in Australia’s largest city.
I suspect, like most Catholic conservatives, I have never really had a major ideological awakening (and hope never to, really) so I found this @clairlemon piece to be both bracing and necessary reading about when reality mugs you … bravo Claire

What matters is:
- Productivity
- Inflation
- Housing affordability
- Home ownership rates
- Disposable incomes
- Real wages
- Birth rates
- Budget sustainability
- Business competition
- Small business success rates
- Intergenerational equality
- Wealth disparity
- GDP per capita
What doesn’t matter is:
- GDP growth for the sake of growth
- Artificially low unemployment propped up by non-market sector jobs
- Artificially low inflation through subsidies and price caps
- Retail spending enabled by high personal debt
- Overvalued stock prices underpinned by monopoly profits
- Ever-increasing house prices through immigration demand, constrained supply and high development cost

Good governments are proactive.
They limit their size and scope to ensure focus and efficiency.
They set a high bar for permanent residency and citizenship.
They make rules that are hard to break and easy to follow.
They enforce the law strictly and objectively.
They review failure to apply existing laws before passing new ones.
They prioritise the freedoms of law abiding citizens.
We don’t have good government.
That’s $45,000 per adult Australian….
And we all know that it’s around only 20% of Adults who pay any net tax.
Absolutely gobsmacking

So the government released a report into global WARMING and did not look at whether COLD deaths would decrease.
Many more people die in Australia from cold than heat.
This is a one-sided scare campaign and people can see through it.

Liberal base is a proxy for the tax base
As it shrinks, so does conservative support.
As welfare reliance grows, so does Labor’s support base.
Most people don’t know anything about policies, except who is likely to give them a handout.

I have experience in manufacturing in the United States and China.
I am heavily invested in manufacturing in the USA.
I am also a fair trade proponent and think reciprocal tariffs are a great concept.
But I think the current tariff approach is sub-optimal, and it will not result in significant re-shoring of manufacturing to the United States.
In this video I explain why and how I think we should be approaching tariff negotiations.

A crazed pole-wielding African man who was shot by police in Doveton, Melbourne, was among 291 serious criminals spared deportation by Labor.
Former immigration detainee Masi Ayiik, 33, was in breach of five sets of bail when he was arrested.
