Look, there's a lot that we can disagree with about a 24-team playoff.
One thing we can all agree on is that quarterfinals need to be played on campus. We do not need to be giving these games away to the bowl sites that fans don't want to go to.
Come on @theACC - no replay? This is bullshit

how do we not have better ways to confirm FGs??
this looks good to win the game…
virtually everyone with a good angle thinks it’s good…
but 1 dude staring up into the cold night sky says it’s not… and we go with him without any review

I've been involved in recruiting for more than two decades. Covered at least 25 signing days. Never seen anything like what James Franklin is doing at Virginia Tech @VTScoop247

Pray for @BudElliott3 dealing with another year under Norvell

We need @DanWetzel running CFB
Conference Championship Weekend
SEC: Alabama already defeated Georgia (Tide need to avoid blowout loss)
Big 12: Texas Tech already defeated BYU
Big Ten: 1-2 matchup, but both teams in with a bye, would’ve been epic in regular season (don’t expand league to 18 teams)
ACC: no comment
Eliminate and start the playoff earlier so national title game isn’t Jan 19/20

Happy Thanksgiving, Hokie Nation!
Grateful for the loyalty of these men who are spending time away from their families & loved ones to work hard for Virginia Tech. #ThisIsHome

Misleading -- this photo was originally taken by the Virginia Tech media team, not by the Rivals website. The "Rivals" watermark was added afterwards without permission and falsely implies that this photo is exclusive content from Rivals.

Can confirm Mike Norvell will return as Florida State’s coach in 2026, sources told @CBSSports. FSU is currently 5-6 this season and finishes with Florida next week.
Believe @RossDellenger had it first.

Great hire by Virginia Tech. James Franklin is an absolute home run for them.

Sources: Virginia Tech and James Franklin are finalizing an agreement for him to become the school’s next coach. Franklin has won 128 games over 15 seasons as the head coach at Vanderbilt and Penn State. He led Penn State to the CFP semi-finals last year.

Virginia Tech and James Franklin would make a lot of sense together, as Grace lays out here.
Maybe Franklin believes he can get a better job, but he does really well at the things VT needs help in.
The answer is simple for Virginia Tech. Go all in on James Franklin, who made it crystal clear this weekend he wants to coach again. Column: nytimes.com/athletic/6730626…
