The day of the pillow can’t come fast enough.

Important to remember that in 1940, most of Hitler’s advisors argued against an invasion of France. On paper, the French were stronger in key areas. A few of his staff even threatened to resign.
He made the call to invade entirely because he thought they were faggots.
And he was right.

They aren’t fascists, they’re communists
Fascist is what terrified bed wetters will call the people who stop this
Who cares?
Any minimally honest person would acknowledge that this raid is a flagrant abuse of state power and the domestic authorities of DHS against one of Trump's most outspoken critics, right near an election.
The scurrilous claims about @IlhanMN have never had any basis in fact or evidence. Omar has lived in the US for more than 30 years: longer than Melania Trump, or Sebastian Gorka, or Steve Hilton, or countless GOP luminaries. She's lived in the US since she was 13. She's been a US citizen for more than 25 years.
This has as much to do with immigration enforcement as the Trump/Rubio policy of deporting people for the crime of criticizing Israel: which is to say, none at all. It's all about feeding the MAGA base something to excite them and, especially, persecuting one of the most vocal critics of Trump and Israel.

GDP is higher if we burn that old oak door for heat and buy a new door at Home Depot.
“Let me tell you about your history and how it includes me…”
Most Americans who call themselves Irish aren’t talking about the same thing as the famine Irish of Boston and New York.
A huge number are really Scots-Irish — English and Scottish border stock, Protestant frontier people whose ancestors came out of the borderlands, were planted in Ulster, then pushed into Appalachia, Tennessee, Kentucky and the South.
Not Dublin. Not Cork. Not the tenements. A harder, older story of border clans, rifles, honour, feuds, distrust of authority and life on the edge of empire.
The green beer version of Irish-American identity hides a lot. For millions, the real roots are English, Scottish, Ulster, frontier, Presbyterian, hill country and rebellion.
Different people. Different history. Different temperament. 🏴🏴🇬🇧
