The biggest myth about donald trump is how EVERYONE thinks he will be a strong man for THEM. The poors think he will fight big corporations, rich people think he will give them tax breaks and drive growth, immigrants believe he will solve immigration (but leave their particular group alone), pro Ukraine thinks he will be a strongman vs putin, anti-Ukrainians think he will abandon Ukraine, etc... Guys, Donald Trump is a fucking idiot, who only cares about himself, does not pay attention to details, has the attention span of a gnat, is wildly incompetent and driven by maleovance. He will just be an agent of chaos, and whoever flatters him the most will get their way. He is not a strong man, and will not be a strongman against anyone, except for the most vulnerable of people. Just like last time

Yep. And I'm so glad I did this:
.@SarahLongwell25: "Vote for Abdul El-Sayed. I think this is a mark of how important it is for me to defend liberal democracy. I will endorse candidates with whom I have big differences for the bigger picture of putting an enormous check on Donald Trump."

🥳 Happy birthday to @AbdulElSayed – the next Senator from Michigan!

A lot of Congressional Democrats would prefer to stay in the minority in than Senate than win with a Muslim critic of Israel because their paramount priority is Israel, and it’s just as simple as that.
There’s no way to accurately describe all this without stating that fact.
This isn’t about Haley Stevens. It’s about the basic question she raised: Why won’t El-Sayed just condemn the Jew-hating ad?
News flash: You can be for lower costs and stand up to hate at the same time.

If you don’t want it, then don’t run. This is my struggle with a lot of Democratic candidates. They don’t want to make their case or fight for themselves. Then don’t run! Let someone who cares fight for the voters instead.

I started off pretty pro-Israel. The first crack came when Netanyahu wouldn't let the United States send Ukraine two Iron Dome batteries the U.S. Army had bought and paid for, because Israel holds a veto over transfers of the system to third countries. His explanation included the fact that Israeli pilots fly "right next to Russian pilots" over Syria. That made me pause. Four months later, after October 7, those same batteries went to Israel.
Since then, my view of Israel has grown progressively darker. By the time the UN was warning that famine in northern Gaza was imminent, I opposed Israel's continued military campaign. When Netanyahu talked Trump into dragging us into a war with Iran, I started seeing the Israeli state, as currently constituted, as sinister. And the massive, continuing campaign by pro-Israel money against Abdul El-Sayed, more than $30 million to stop him in the primary and fresh spending now that he's the nominee, has radicalized me against any defense relationship with Israel going forward.
Plenty of my fellow Americans seem to have traveled the same road. Six in ten now view Israel unfavorably, up from 42 percent in 2022. And this year, for the first time since Gallup started asking in 2001, Americans don't sympathize more with the Israelis than with the Palestinians.
None of this has anything to do with Judaism or with how I feel about Jews. To suggest otherwise is to defame my character, and I resent and reject the suggestion. Everything I've listed is an action, and every one of them deserves my ire if I have any commitment to my stated principles at all.
The establishment , I hope, will get destroyed Tuesday
Blaming Israel for the price of bananas is bananas. Turning grocery bills into an excuse to scapegoat Israel is a hateful, ugly old trope dressed up as campaign politics.
Mark my words: Actions made in today's charged environment is going to backfire in 2 years.
I talked about this is more on @SatAmericaFNC on @FoxNews

ONE YEAR AGO: JD Vance wonders if podcasters claiming Trump will get us into a regime change war for Iran will ever admit they were wrong.

He did nothing. He was just standing there.
An Israeli settler walked up and murdered him 💔
How is this not terrorism?
