My dystopian novel was meant to be a cautionary tale—I didn't expect it to be prophetic.
After the fall of democracy, an American family is thrust into the heart of a modern resistance movement.
A powerful tale about standing up to tyranny.

Donald Trump just promoted one of the most vile thugs to ever slither into the Oval Office.
This is an insult to every American who voted for change on Tuesday.
Stephen Miller cooked up the sadistic mass deportation regime that ripped apart families and trampled basic civil rights. Innocent people are dead because of him.
Voters rejected his cruelty and extremism. This is sick.
"I am pleased to announce that Mr. Stephen Miller, the current Deputy Chief of Staff of the Trump Administration, and one of my most trusted advisors, will become the Chief of Staff starting Monday, November 9, 2026. Susie Wiles, who has done an outstanding job, will be moving over to the Trump Political Operation. I want to thank her for her service as Chief of Staff — She has done a great job!" - President Donald J. Trump 🇺🇸

Tuesday was glorious. Celebrate it. Cherish it. It was a historic accomplishment for democracy and all who love it. The fact that a massive storm is now coming and it's going to be horrifying can't be allowed to take away from our joy. But we must face it. cnn.com/2026/11/06/politics/…

I get looking at the Miller news and thinking, "What could be better for Dem prospects?" But in all seriousness, if Stephen Miller were running the country with a competent executive branch, we would be living in an outright fascist state. This is very bad and very dangerous.

I spent two years working with Stephen Miller.
His appointment as White House chief of staff is among the most dangerous personnel decisions in the history of our republic.
I say that without reservation.

In choosing Stephen Miller, Trump is going for:
- Loyalty over compromise
- Defiance against new Congress
- Confrontation over course correction
- An all or nothing approach to his final two years

** JUST IN ** Trump has announced that Susie Wiles is OUT as White House Chief of Staff starting Monday, to be immediately replaced by Stephen Miller.
When you hear many people seemingly overreact to this, keep this in mind: You CAN'T overreact to this.
This is ABSOLUTELY an act of defiance, an injured narcissist refusing to be contrite as always, a tone-deaf and colorblind move, one that will harm the GOPs post-election chances for ... anything, probably a move that leads toother WH defections.
It would be nice if the GOP, especially the lame ducks, speak up. Miller is and always was a sociopath, since his days in Santa Monica - my hometown.
This is the double down of all double downs, which is bad.
It's also the overreach of all overreaches, and that part is good.

I've been on this site since 2009, & being political, I've see many campaigns here, grass-roots activism, born of some seismic issues.
But I've never - ever - seen anything as intense, full-bore, & well-informed - & as clearly correct - as the rejection of Schumer & Jeffries.

When Republicans won they did not reach across the aisle, they kidnapped hardworking people off the streets and sent them to a concentration camp surrounded by alligators where they feed them maggot infested food and laughed about it.

A moment of silence for the women who were denied abortion healthcare and bled out in hospital parking lots, for Renee Goode and Alex Pretti, for the men, women, and children who died in ICE custody, for the millions overseas who relied on USAID and died without it, for the American soldiers we lost in this idiotic war, and so many more who have died on the altar of MAGA hatred.
We cannot forget any of their lives in this moment of victory✌️They deserve justice.
