BREAKING: The US Department of Justice is reviewing the forceful ejection of fans wearing XX-XY t-shirts at Friday's Portland Thorns game.
"The Justice Department is aware of these reports and will review the matter thoroughly. Where the facts and the law warrant action, the Department will not hesitate to act."
A DOJ spokesperson also told me, "Based on what is known so far, the conduct described appears to raise viewpoint discrimination and First Amendment questions rather than sex discrimination. The Department is reviewing it."

Thousands of police officers from across the country gathered in Philadelphia to honor Shane Seiber, a 40-year-old officer killed in the line of duty.
Seiber was fatally shot on October 10 while responding to a report of an armed man in West Philadelphia. His partner was also shot 12 times but survived.
During Tuesday's funeral, Seiber was posthumously promoted to sergeant, recognizing his 10 years with the Philadelphia Police Department and his military service, including two tours in Iraq.
The father of two leaves behind his wife, Lisa, and their young children, Finn and Emily.

We launched this campaign as outsiders, without the advantages of an established political machine. We started with a vision, a willingness to work, and a determination to show up even when the odds seemed overwhelming.
Since then, we have knocked on doors, traveled across this district, built relationships, raised grassroots support, and reached people who had never heard from a congressional candidate before.
I am incredibly proud of what we have accomplished together.
This campaign has tested my faith, my endurance, and my commitment. But it has also reminded me why I stepped forward in the first place.
I believe deeply in the future of Illinois’ 1st Congressional District. I believe our communities have tremendous potential, and I want to help restore opportunity, strengthen families, improve public safety, and bring greater accountability to government.

He’s referring to my friend @georgas_ni80016 and her courageous effort to protect her 6th grade daughter who was expected to change in a @DPS109 locker room with a male classmate. The admin at the school punished the girls for “bullying” him for recognizing him as a male.
Federal complaints to the @CivilRights and a federal lawsuit are pending.

Of the 54 organizations identified in the October protest ecosystem, 16 — or only about one in three — are student or youth organizations, including communist youth groups and a Muslim student association.

The No Aid for Ghost Students Act does one basic thing: it requires the Department of Education to screen every FAFSA for signs of identity fraud so fake “ghost students” can’t collect federal aid and disappear.
When an application looks suspicious, the college has to verify the person’s identity before any money goes out.
That’s it. Real students aren’t blocked, scammers using stolen or fake identities are.
The House passed it 249-172. Every Republican and 36 Democrats supported it.
The 172 no votes, including Jonathan Jackson’s, are hard to explain. Ghost student fraud has already cost taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars.
Voting against basic screening means more of that money keeps getting stolen instead of going to actual students who need it.
That’s not complicated. It’s just protecting the system from people who are exploiting it.
