South Korea has abolished the Prosecutors’ Office after more than seven decades, ending prosecutors’ authority to investigate while confining them to warrants and charges as police and a new agency take over probes under interior oversight. The shift removes the prior dual role that enabled pursuit of high-level corruption and increases the chance that sensitive cases stall before indictment.
This pattern echoes the early Soviet reorganization of the procuracy after 1917, when the independent tsarist prosecution service was dismantled and replaced by bodies subordinate to party and interior organs; within a few years the new apparatus routinely declined or redirected cases involving regime allies while accelerating those against opponents, producing a measurable rise in unpunished elite misconduct alongside selective enforcement.

This should open peoples eyes up to China's massive foreign interference operations on social media. Which have been going on for a very long time.

Is the President appointing Supreme Court justices at his whim “separation of powers”?
Former acting president Hwang Kyo-ahn responds to the Blue House claim that the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court recommending justices is not judicial independence.
Under the Constitution, the Chief Justice recommends Supreme Court justices — the president does not get to replace them simply because he dislikes the choice.

Breaking News: Is Brazil turning into a Banana Republic?

“Brazil Supreme Court Justice, Cristiano Zanin, President Lula’s former lawyer who defended him during the Petrobras corruption scandal and whom Lula himself appointed to the Supreme Court, ordered that voting across Brazil be extended by TWO HOURS!!!
Zanin is not even a member of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), whose president was appointed by Bolsonaro. The TSE normally handles election issues.
His decision forced election authorities to suspend the vote count. The real scandal however, lies in the fact that Zanin had no legal authority to intervene, yet he did so anyway to help his buddy Lula.
The order was subsequently restricted to polling stations that had not yet closed, most likely in less developed regions where Lula tends to receive more votes.
This is a massive scandal in Brazil and goes to show that the country is nothing more than a banana republic.”

■ 주진우 의원은 ‘황제골프’소설 쓰는 사이버렉카 행태를 멈추고, 근거부터 내놓으십시오.
주진우 국민의힘 의원이 김혜경 여사가 지난 20일 태릉CC에서 프로골퍼에게 ‘황제 레슨’을 받고 ‘대통령 전용 클럽하우스’까지 열었다는 의혹을 제기했습니다.
태릉CC는 국군복지단이 운영하지만, 민간인도 예약해 이용할 수 있는 골프장입니다. 평일에는 회원 예약이 안 된 비어있는 시간대에 일반인도 예약 가능합니다. 일반 국민도 예약할 수 있는 시설을 이용한 것을 ‘군 시설 사적 이용’이라 부르는 것은 어불성설입니다.
‘대통령 전용 클럽하우스’라는 주장도 황당하기 그지없습니다. ‘세계적인 프로골퍼’는 누구이며, ‘수천만 원짜리 황제 레슨’의 증거는 무엇입니까. 자극적인 수식어를 덧칠한다고 의혹이 사실이 되지는 않습니다.
군 시설 사적 이용이 범죄라고 했습니까? 확인되지 않은 의혹을 사실처럼 공표해 남의 명예를 훼손하는 것이야말로 범죄입니다.
대통령과 그 가족의 일상을 집요하게 뒤쫓는 스토커 행태와 허위사실 유포같은 범죄행위를 상습적으로 일삼는 자가 국회의원이라는 신분 뒤에 숨어 있습니다.
주진우 의원은 면책특권 뒤에 숨어 의혹만 흘리지 말고, 증거를 남김없이 내놓으십시오. 의혹을 입증할 책임은 의혹을 제기한 사람에게 있습니다.
사이버렉카 노릇을 하고 싶다면 국회의원 배지를 떼고 유튜브에만 전념하십시오.
