Shocking that Parks Canada is ending its K9 SAR dog program in Banff.
(Disclaimer, I know and trained with the wardens on the wilderness search discipline when I was a validated K9 handler.)
No CARDA avalanche dog in Parks is downright negligence.

Very happy to see the K9 rescue kits (which I created) getting a lot of good use on @NSRescue @taloncopters helicopter rescues.
Everything from dog-specific helicopter rescue harnesses to treats to everything in between.

Apparently I’m “the only one” who wants Kits Pool fully reopened.
It’s interesting how hard they are working on silencing a lone wolf, isn’t it?

Why is a municipal community amenity restricted, needlessly? COVID capacity and “30 minute closures for cleaning” three times each day. 80% of capacity online advanced booking. It’s nuts. Staff it. Open it. Restore capacity to pre-pandemic levels #FREEKitsPool. @KenSimCity

The number of sources has doubled. Anyone who has information about the FALSE excuse of a lifeguard shortage in @CityofVancouver @ParkBoard - my DMs are open - email is available. I promise to protect all sources. It’s time for change in this town.

May long is right around the corner. Will @ParkBoard fully reopen the ICONIC Kitsilano Pool? Or will the COVID restrictions and ridic online advanced booking continue? The people of B.C. want access to the amenities that our TAX DOLLARS paid/pay for. @Dave_Eby @george_affleck
Time to hire and train all of the lifeguards we will need to FULLY REOPEN Kits Pool in 2026. No excuses. Reopen The People’s Pool. No schedules and Covid era closures. No more online booking. @ParkBoard - #FREEKITSPOOL or be VOTED OUT. @KenSimCity

Hey 👋🏻 @ParkBoard - just a reminder to #FREEKITSPOOL IN 2026 or be VOTED OUT. No excuses. Lift all Covid era restrictions and return to first come, first served! None of the “windows” for swimming. Just OPEN it. As it was meant to be. @KenSimCity
