The Boston Celtics have picked up the 2027-28 rookie scale team options for Hugo Gonzalez and Baylor Scheierman, a league source told @spotrac. This is the third-year option for Gonzalez and the fourth-year option for Scheierman.

Miami was not ready to get a player like Giannis. Their roster had too many holes already and it wasn't even a good fit for the Greek. Now Miami possibly gave up everything for a 1 yr rental and Giannis wasted another year of his prime. This entire thing was a waste of time.
