Hear me out: Fire the All-Star Race into the sun and just make both Dover and Wilkesboro points races. I loved that race as much as the next fan in its day, but it doesn’t work at any track or with any format in 2026.

Here’s the way I look at it… I can find a dozen football, basketball, baseball and hockey games each week to enjoy during their season But we only get one Cup race a week I would prefer not to reduce the small amount of what we already get
