More investors should try activism, that would help hard sloggers like @DanielSLoeb1 who pioneered this idea. If more were to join, the world could actually become a better place. Instead we have funds managing trillions sleepwalking their clients' money to the grave. 🪦

Worth noting that Supermicro are sitting downstream of this local automation SI tidal wave and have already struck a number of deals in 2026. This is higher margin stuff where their innovation has a good chance of paying off in 2027/28. Smart shorts are leaving quietly. $SMCI

Silly analysis. Robot RAM needs will exceed everything else on Earth, as you need the robots to be on physical substates in order to shape atoms. Super intelligence needs will vastly exceed that, but ~100% of SI will be deep space compute. Obviously.

Was super cheap...now even secondhand is higher priced than 2025's prices. Thanks Elon!
You can fit more total RAM on the board if you use “normal” memory than high-bandwidth memory and it is super cheap. Maybe high-bandwidth memory is still the right choice, but using HBM isn’t the slam dunk many people think it is.

Interesting chatter about cloud risk, what if your Google account becomes comprised etc. This might start a boom in boosting local defences which will require more compute at the local level to run agents etc without the cloud risk. More RAM anyone? @BrianRoemmele

Ties in with $BRK turning bullish after 2 years of so so performance. If it can continue that trend, it's generally positive for the markets overall and a weakening in the AI trade (a ST clearing out the trash phase) will likely help MT to LT. Also, note $RELX MTD. Good omens.
NDX has fallen hard since its Oct. 6 top. But the numbers of its components above their own 100MAs is rising. Usually I watch this for bearish divergences at tops. This is weird to see it showing a bullish divergence.

All the incessant talk about we need more compute, really translates into we need more energy $XLE and metals $XME. Energy (particularly, real stuff like oil and gas) is leading and embarking on a second demand driven S-curve. Wouldn't be surprised to see XME follow.

Not much consensus on where oil is headed, but price action suggests it's more than just the Iran / Ukraine situation which the media tends to promote. There's actually just an undercurrent of incredible demand for energy right now. $XLE

$XLE (energy) has outperformed $XLK (tech) by a factor of 2 this year, yet it's tumbleweed in terms of chatter.

If $IWM finishes green today, that will be interesting. Suspect most of megacap selloff is just rebalancing. If a small amount of that flows into small caps, the early movers will make it all back and more there.

US 10Y Sub 5% now, Super Intelligence is here, just getting to work. Lots of movement under the hood. $SPY $IWM
I know this is against the narrative, but the US 10Y looks ripe for a serious decline. 10Y TIPS seem way too high too for all the job losses to come. SI needs that $100T TAM between 2030 - 2040. $QQQ $SPY

Yes Elon, you may as well acquire $SMCI boneheads don't want it 😉 $TSLA $SPCX terrafab us to Mars
Another good reason for this is that it would shatter the bear case, mainly centred around dodgy press articles, to smithereens. Supermicro's business is obviously worth multiples of its current market cap. It's doing the work, AI/SI is bringing the demand. $SMCI

Can’t remember the last time I saw a crash with $IWM and $XLF not red. Probably because it’s never happened.

Guilty too, I can't go one day without thinking of another use case.
I literally can't go one day without AI. Let's ignore my investment research use case. 1. I'm doing research to build my house, building codes, material selection, interior design, architecture styles. 2. I'm using to improve health, diet, etc. 3. I ask for recipes exactly proportion i need, well researched synthesized from the best. No more comparing 10 different recipes and figure out based on my ingredients. 4. Random things I'm curious about. What are you guys using it for?

$WSHP can they do it? Revolution is coming, small and nano caps might be winners. They need to get their asses in gear for sure but land grabs are possible as the agentic bots take over.

Seems looney to say but $BRK.B looks to be heading for a big breakout, after underperforming the AI/SI super train over the past two years. @markminervini
