Update: Last night I needed some money, the bank said "insufficient funds". Only to check & inquire -The Nakawa AC patriots wrote to that bank,deducted all my "ka money" & even left a bill of over 200m😭😭. That's it for me, time to go back to Arua & dig, or smuggle to/from Congo

Thats how I felt in 2023 closing down a more than 10 year old business in town & having no where to even take the machines. Transport of the machines alone cost over 2m that I didnt even have. Nevertheless, yesterday, the Nakawa guys sent a tax bill of over 200m🤣😭😭😭

This is genuinely incredible: Huawei survived the most aggressive assault against a single company in modern history and is coming out the other side with the U.S. licensing its technology. And ironically in the exact domains - 5G, AI, compute, networking - that the U.S. tried to cut Huawei out of.

We need to arrest and prosecute everyone behind the digital numberplates. It's a scam to the government, the tax payer and a disservice to our local company that was making numberplates here and employing our citizens helping them put food at their homes. An employer has been ordered to pay Ksh 700,000 for recording an employee's phone call.The employee refused to consent and was promised the recording would be deleted, but it was kept for a year, shared with a sister company, and used in unrelated arbitration. The ODPC ruled this a clear violation of data protection laws.
