E15 is here⛽️. Bipartisan work through the @CAProblemSolver just helped deliver cheaper, cleaner fuel for every driver in California. This is what happens when leaders focus on solutions instead of politics.

Proud to be working alongside with the California Problem Solvers Caucus to find commonsense solutions and get things done for Californians.
**Unanimously Approved** Thanks to our Member @AlvarezSD and policy-making partner @ArchuletaSD30, the PSC's E15 implementation bill was unanimously approved at the Assembly Emergency Management Committee meeting. #caleg

California Just Received Its Last Drop of Middle Eastern Oil.
Nothing else is en route. California sits on over 1 billion barrels in proved oil reserves and produces about 250,000 barrels a day. Our refineries can handle 1.4 million. Instead 60 percent comes from foreign imports because decades of policy decisions made it impossible to produce our own. This crisis was not inevitable. It was chosen. #FixCalifornia

California is expensive — and too much of it is self-inflicted. From gas to groceries, state policies keep driving costs higher.
And some energy policies don’t even cut emissions — they just push jobs and businesses out of California while exporting emissions elsewhere.
We can protect the environment without making life unaffordable for working families.
And I’ll never stop fighting for that.

CARB is rewriting Cap-and-Invest regs - and the stakes couldn’t be higher.
I’m joining the @CAProblemSolver to demand a focus on affordability, protecting jobs, and putting California consumers first.
Tomorrow, I’ll serve as Vice Chair at the Senate Environmental Quality Committee hearing on this issue.
We are on the wrong track. Without a course correction, Californians will face higher energy costs, tighter supply, and growing strain on working families.

California’s last major oil shipment is here. After this, we’re short about 200,000 barrels a day—and no one has explained the plan to replace it.
@CAProblemSolver asked two weeks ago.
Still nothing.
You can’t run the fifth-largest economy on “we’ll figure it out.”

Proud to be apart of @CAProblemSolver with members of both parties who choose partnership over partisanship.

Housing is the biggest expense for most families — and a major driver of the affordability crisis. In our Affordability Agenda, we are laying the foundation for our work in 2026 and beyond. We will be soliciting experts throughout the field.
Our first draft outlines a bipartisan approach to build more homes, modernize permitting for faster construction, and make housing more financially accessible.

We are grateful for the many lawmakers in California, like Assemblymember David Alvarez, who saw the importance of bringing E15 to California and helping the state’s drivers save money each time they fill up their vehicles.

Bi-partisan problem solving doesn't require anyone to give up their core values.
It allows us to listen, learn and pursue common ground.
