If I lived closer, and I already fled CA for Texas-after 50 years so I’m not moving there- do you have Milky Ways?

Paging @Pirates. You can never have enough good baseball people, especially those who truly understand the region and love the franchise.
To all my Friends, Rockies fans, current and past Players, members of the entire Colorado Rockies Organization top to bottom,
I would like to extend my appreciation and love for being part of an incredible journey for over 20 years.
I was granted the opportunity to coach and manage this club. Then, I was asked to come back and mentor the young players and future leaders of this organization. Both were gifts. Thank you to Dick Monfort for trusting me with both of those journeys and for always treating me like family and making Colorado feel like home.
What I will hold onto most isn’t the wins. It’s the people! They are what Rocktober was built on. That’s what the next great Rockies team will be built on too.
With my last day being October 31, 2026….just know that I am not retiring…but rather recalculating my journey personally and professionally.
In the words of my favorite Doctor….”Don’t be sad it’s over be glad it happened” - Dr. Seuss
Thank you for your support over the years. My family and I have loved our time in Colorado, and will always cherish our memories in purple.
Make a difference today,
Love Clint
@Rockies
I’m willing to wait 10 years, God willing, to hang out with you. I hope there is a path for you to benefit younger guys.
Very grateful, Clint. And I would love to spend time with you. But, I would prefer some team -preferably the Pirates-who would benefit from your journey and experience.
Actually, He did. And there is quite a bit of evidence to support that.
If I weren’t 72 , stoved up and on a somewhat fixed income, sir, I’d hire you to give me hitting lessons. If for no other reason than to hang out.

Even though I’ve been a Pirates fan since birth, I grew up outside Philadelphia and have strong memories of listening to Harry Kalas call Phillies games.
He was a true master, whose calls of exciting plays or home runs are legendary (“Swing, and a LONG DRIVE!!!).
He also knew how to stay silent between pitches and let the sounds of the ballpark speak for a few moments.
Baseball on the radio is golden.
No kidding. I probably listened to most if not all of 125 Pirate games this season. Not that I want a trophy or anything.
