Someone needs to drag IS away from Paper Mario and Fire Emblem hell for at least 5 seconds, so we can get a new Panel De Pon/Tetris Attack game with decent netcode for modern hardware.

The hard truth here is that most Nintendo games these days lack any friction that forces players to reach skill ceilings. They let you play like a dumbass & have a great time with it. So it's obviously a foreign concept when a game forces them to git gud to get the most out of it

To this day this is still one of the greatest openings to a Godzilla movie ever

It’s funny how because of this film the average person just assumed, and probably still does assume, that zombies say brains and exclusively eat brains when that’s pretty much only this film, really

Shigeru Miyamoto revealed what he considers to be the most intriguing aspect of the first Super Mario Bros. game:
"And the biggest invention, or rather, the most intriguing aspect of Super Mario, is that Mario doesn't actually fight Bowser. Normally, if there's a boss at the end, you have to fight him, right? But creating a battle is difficult, and we were really struggling with how to do it.
When I thought, 'I can't create a battle like this,' I realized that since it's a game where you keep running to the right, how about making it so that the person who reaches the far right wins? Then I had a brilliant idea: 'Why not just jump over the opponent instead of fighting?'
All you have to do is jump over Bowser, and he'll fall. I found it surprisingly fun when I tried it, and I was really happy when I realized that."

Such a stupid thing to say when one of the coolest fights in the film has a direct reference to Ultraseven
