Thread of threads on anti-white discriminatory hiring, with special focus on Canada, put together so I can pin it because I search for it often

White Texans welcomed his family from one of the most savagely repressive regimes on earth at the time, & unquestioningly made them full and equal partakers of our political and social life
That was obviously a mistake

Mind you its a data center that
- Is covering 100% of its own power consumption
- Uses zero water for cooling, just bathroom and kitchen
- Offers a 120% water stewardship pledge (Net gain of water in the county)
- Provided housing to construction workers to prevent a local temporary rent hike
- Investing in the local school system
- Was going to pay for the entire County's budget for 7 years
And it still wasn't enough. There just is zero way to overcome the negative PR/NIMBY

I think a lot of people feel like this umpire. He’s a vet, good at his job, now there’s this robot that does his job even better. It points out his errors that would have gone unnoticed a few years ago. And he’s waiting for someone to say, “why do we need the guy behind the plate?”
I don’t think they can articulate this feeling, so they glob on to “uhh data centers eat water” or some version of NIMBYism. But there’s a deeper fear driving it.

"Desperate Trump staffers discussed ways to mobilize the "Gigachad" vote, despite it being unlikely that there are that many white male voters named Chad in the entire country. Giga most commonly refers to the metric unit prefix meaning one billion (10⁹ or 1,000,000,000)."
Six days before the election, more than two dozen Trump strategists logged onto a private video call. The mood was grim. The talk turned to cyanide. “Do you want the white pill first, or the black pill first?" @ShaneGoldmacher @jonathanvswan @maggieNYT nytimes.com/2026/11/04/us/po…
Thank Reagan for Rep. Garcia
All 3 Epstein-linked suits against Leon Black were dismissed with prejudice…
A federal judge sanctioned the accuser and her lawyer for fabricated evidence.
Rep. Robert Garcia knew that, then told national TV “survivors” had "credibly named" Black.
On 11/4/26, Leon Black filed a $7.5 million defamation lawsuit against Rep. Garcia.
Black says Garcia's statements set off a wave of threatening calls, emails, letters and social posts, some telling him to kill himself or saying people would hurt him. People online call him a pedophile and child rapist. On Oct 6, an activist group put up posters around Apollo's Midtown offices calling him an "accused rapist" and demanding MoMA remove him from its board.
Hopefully Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie face similar lawsuits.
It’s absolutely disgraceful that Democrats are whipping the public into hysteria over false accusations in their attempt to frame Trump and deflect from Democrats’ extremely close ties to Epstein.

What a time to be alive
This is probably the worst result of the night.
Newly elected Democratic congressman Adam Hamawy was a close associate of Omar Abdel Rahman - the “Blind Sheikh” sentenced to life in prison for his role inspiring the 1993 Wold Trade Center bombing.
Abdel-Rahman issued a fatwa in the US that declared it lawful to rob banks and kill Jews in the US. His sermons condemned Americans as the "descendants of apes and pigs'' and called on Muslims to assail the West, ''kill them on the sea, air, or land.''
Adam Hamawy travelled with the Blind Sheikh to a conference in Detroit in 1991 titled "Towards a Global Islamic Economy.” He ultimately testified in court for the Blind Sheikh to try defend him.
A secret FBI informant said that Hamawy discussed making bombs with the Blind Sheikh and "conquering the land of the infidels.”

Celts came from where we thought
Germanics came from Baltic
Blonde hair map is the Baltic-Germanic population marker
Red hair is a different population, also very northern but Highly Insular Celtic

A sort of side finding in @hmcccoll and @KroonenGuus's newly published papers which I love thanks to their ability to distinguish BB, CWC, and Catacomb type IE stppe ancestry is it pointing towards an IE phylogeny with Italo-Celtic, Greco-Armeno-Albanian, and Indo-Baltic
Congrats @hmcccoll both papers are really great advances for the history of Indo European
"The question becomes - how do you stop leftists flooding the short form video space with insanely toxic lies"
Make up your own
I believe one of the key reasons Republicans lost is that they were completely defeated in the information war.
There are literally millions of normies - possibly tens of millions - who genuinely believe that Donald Trump personally ate babies with Epstein.
They believe AI data centers consume all water on the planet and that there is a wave of hidden lynchings of black people in the South and that Lindsay Clancy is innocent while the Cornell 7 represent a campaign of white men terrorising and raping everybody.
So the question becomes - how do you stop leftists flooding the short form video space with insanely toxic lies.
People really believe that Lindsay Clancy is innocent, they really believe that there are secret lynchings going on throughout the South, they really believe that data centers are destroying the planet

Speaking of
Putting up an amnesty bill for Trump to veto would be a useful exercise in seeing which GOP reps fall for it (and if Rubio has really changed)
The only dummymander that really hit was NC (and TN and OH a bit, thought OH wasn't a very extreme gerrymander in the first place). Otherwise, a dozen or so districts are going into 2028 as +8 to +12 R (from 2024) that weren't before, mostly in FL and TX
This is insane! Here is a map of yesterday’s Indiana House results if they were drawn under the attempted Republican gerrymander map from last Fall. Thank you to @Vulst3 for breaking down the data to make this map. The gerrymander could’ve netted us a 9-0 or 8-1 map potentially!
