2023 is the year we abolish the licensing system once and for all. Licensing has FAILED, and #QLD s*x workers are tired of the two-tiered system it creates. We are ready for change, and we are ready to leave no s*x worker behind in 2023!
ALT The image is a meme. You can see a large, off-white, carved gravestone on the left, with a fresh mound of dirt in front of it; the grave is labelled "1999-2023: the licensing model". In the background are several funeral attendees in black. To the right is a young white man in a suit and black jacket, on one knee next to the grave and smiling, giving the camera a reversed peace sign (a rude gesture from the UK). He is labelled "Queensland sex workers". The general context of the image is QLD sex workers being happy about the death of the licensing model.

SW increasingly use the internet to connect with clients and the SW community; address violence; and work with more flexibility and autonomy. The systemic discrimination specifically targeting SW online is a direct threat to our safety, health, and human rights.
