The Cellframe team is focused on two priorities right now: strengthening security and backporting the major features from the 6.0 branch to the current 5.7 release and the upcoming interim 5.8 release, which is imminent.
What you need to know:
🔹 Beta builds are already with our testers and the results are excellent: RAM usage has dropped dramatically and data processing speed has improved significantly.
🔹 Security: major improvements across the board, from architecture to data handling.
🔹 The mCELL saga is winding down. All fixes have been live on the network for a while. This week we’re moving from blanket address-level blocks that caught innocent users to targeted, UTXO-level blocks.
🔹 As part of the preparations, the wallet and RPC nodes will be restarted.

Quantum vs Silicon will start off slowly. The Google Tensor Processor will dominate low RAM computing (or NPU for non-von Neumann data+process). Quantum will dominate processing in a large number of fields, especially where lookup or RAM dominate.
