The Water Tower survived the great Chicago fire. Will it survive a homeless encampment? @AldHopkins @ChicagosMayor

@TheJusticeDepart Now do former Cook County, Illinois State’s Attorney Kim Foxx.
A murder conviction review is now putting Philadelphia's top prosecutor under federal scrutiny. In a scathing 40-page memo, U.S. District Judge Paul Diamond says new testimony raises questions about possible false statements, perjury, obstruction of justice, and conspiracy involving far-left DA Larry Krasner and senior aide Matthew Stiegler. One former prosecutor testified she was directed to support overturning the conviction without meaningfully reviewing key evidence, then asked to give the judge a false account of how the case was handled. Stiegler denies the allegations. Diamond has disqualified both men from the review and referred the matter to the DOJ. Krasner disputes the findings and plans to appeal. He has not been charged with a crime. @AmericaNewsroom @CB_Cotton @DanaPerino

You’ve become an elitist, @davidaxelrod as you tsk tsk Chicago. You were in the White House, unlike the rest of us who see this everyday. What policies did you enact to combat homelessness and mental illness? Why does Democrat Chicago tolerate it?
So I just walked by the Art Institute of Chicago where an elderly man, probably homeless, was sprawled unconscious, on the museum's front stone steps in the midst of a heat emergency. I asked a museum security guard about it and she said she had woken him 3 times and suggested he move into the shade and he refused each time. I called 911 and the operator said, "Well, is he ASKING for help?" When I said no, she said, "Well I'm not going to send anyone." So the man remained, passed out in the blazing noon sun. I guess that's how the City of Chicago deals with such situations. Perhaps I should have tried to wake him to try and persuade him to move into the shade but I'm embarrassed to say I didn't. I moved on, like many others who simply ignored him. I hope we're not all complicit in assisting an unintended suicide. @ChicagosMayor; @Chicago_Police; @artinstitutechi.

I saw a man passed out at Jane Byrne Park in the extreme heat. What is the average citizen to do? The man could be harmless, or not. I was not about to be the person to find out. Where are the city services?

If you really want to figure this shit out, THIS man was the one who made sure to hurry all of my attackers into their houses before the cops arrived, if one would actually pursue an investigation into felony battery. I don't expect anything to be resolved just saying. 🤷‍♀️
