Indonesian police named 20 companies as suspects in the 2026 fires (4 foreign-invested: PT HKI & PT AI Singapore, PT RKA Malaysia, PT API South Korea). 97 firms under probe overall. NGO analyses link many hotspots to groups including Wilmar International, Golden Agri-Resources (Sinar Mas) and First Resources (HQs in Singapore) plus Sime Darby and Genting (HQs in Malaysia). Singapore has also questioned several of these firms. Investigations continue.

My friend Jason Scott Warren attended a lecture about climate change from former U.K. Chief Scientist @Sir_David_King last night.
He says Sir David talked of the the real possibility of billions of deaths by midcentury. Yes, read that again. That’s just under 25 years. That would mean global collapse essentially - of the global economy, of society. How old will your children be then?
I understand that the establishment just listen to each other and not to scientists, but the gamble they are taking is a crime in itself. It is massively reckless and irresponsible.
People like @LordAshcroft @DavidGHFrost @afneil @mickbooker of GB News etc have decided the worlds most respected scientists are wrong and that they know better, despite having no scientific training in climate science at all.
It is madness that they won’t even speak to these scientists. I don’t think I’ve ever been aware of anything more illogical or reckless in my life.
