23rd October 1983. 41 years ago today, I won my first Molokai race, going head-to-head with 4-time champion Grant Kenny from Australia. Time has flown by since that unforgettable victory, and today, I face a different kind of challenge with equal determination. Heading to the hospital for more tests, I’m reminded of the battles won, both on and off the water. Feeling proud of where I’ve been and staying strong for the journey ahead. #NoRetreatNoSurrender 💪🌊”
