I gave my life to Christ when I was seven years old.
Years later, as an Apache pilot flying 55 combat missions over Baghdad, I knelt beside my helicopter before every mission and prayed the Lord’s Prayer.
Every single time.
You never know if you’re coming home.
I was raised in a family that believed faith, service, and sacrifice were inseparable.
My father served.
My brother, sister, and I all graduated from West Point.
We were taught that freedom isn’t inherited… it is DEFENDED. 🇺🇸

But not today. Tomorrow’s not looking good either.
Jesus loves you! 🫶🏻

Networks broadcasting on public airways apparently don’t think it’s in the public interest to hear from their president
So @PressSec should stop calling on them in briefings and yank them from the press pool
Amen! This Coach has done it at the highest levels and HE gets it! A long time ago, he recruited one of my quarterbacks and the young man chose elsewhere. I wonder now if he made the wrong decision! Thanks Coach!
Quarterback and QB coaches and OC and Head Coaches Independence Day:
The idea that a high school and college coaches’ job is to prepare their QB for the NFL is incorrect at best.
99.8% of high school and middle school quarterbacks will never play in the NFL and 98% of college quarterbacks will never take a snap in the NFL.
Therefore, to make your gameplans, teaching techniques, etc. based on the 1% would be incredibly selfish and self-defeating, as well as insuring that you will soon be fired.
The number one goal of high school and college coaches for their QB and other players isn’t and shouldn’t be the NFL…It’s teaching life skills, making a dramatic and continuing impact in their daily journey, winning games by highlighting their best skillsets, working to correct their flaws, and making certain that every player they coach understands and has experienced “getting up” after getting their ass whipped.
Learning that regardless of what happens it is their response that will determine the quality of their lives…So regardless of the result simply respond “Good/Next Play” then play the next play with the information learned from the last play.
Then we will have taught the most valuable lesson in life. Play the next play

This is the real task before us: To reassert our commitment as a nation to a law higher than our own, to renew our spiritual strength. Only by building a wall of such resolve can we, as a free people, hope to protect our own heritage and make it someday the birthright of all men.”

I like ya Luke, but grieved? I save grieved for things like “I’m grieved when people text in their baptisms and just show up at the beach” or “I’m grieved when kids and adults spend the entire Sunday apart from each other and call it “going to church as a family.” 😎

It stops being relevant.

This is what it’s all about.
Just received this from our Student Pastor serving at Crossover Orlando:
“Wow! Over 100 people gave their lives to Christ!”
I asked, “Who’s preaching?”
He replied, “Dr. @StephenRummage ”
Come on! Praise the Lord! #SBC26

What am amazing example of respect for your elders and your FLAG!
Dear @WhiteHouse, my name is Rodney Smith Jr., founder of Raising Men & Women Lawn Care Service in Huntsville, Alabama. Through our 50 Yard Challenge, over 6,000 kids across the country have signed up to mow free lawns for the elderly, disabled, veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and single parents. With America celebrating its 250th birthday this year and me also being born on July 4th, I wanted to humbly ask if a few kids from our program and myself could travel to Washington, D.C. to help mow the White House lawn for this historic celebration.
More than anything, I want these kids to see how a simple act of service something as ordinary as mowing a lawn for someone in need can lead to extraordinary places. What better lesson in community service than showing them that helping others can take them all the way to our nation’s capital? I’d also love to bring my American flag-themed mower in hopes that the President might sign it, so I can later auction it off and donate 100% of the proceeds to a nonprofit supporting veterans. It would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to highlight the importance of service, patriotism, and the impact young people can have when they choose to make a difference. 🇺🇸

Some church will always have better coffee, better music, better facilities, better speaking, better marketing.
Showcase Christ and his gospel. Nobody can improve on that.
