To be fair, the Marines don't really know much about guns. They adopted an HK for goodness sakes.
The Marines are really good at getting Marines to think they know how to shoot.
With the Idris mobility nerfs, I do wonder if having a second person in the Kraken turret will be a more effective large combat ship than the Idris. Even with terrible mobility, that Kraken turret will keep the greater volumn of smaller rounds on targets better.
It pisses me off that Starjump uses the Idris-M for the P and the Idris-P for the M and they won't fix it.

'Battle Rifle' was made by fans of ye old .30 cal getting asshurt because 'Assault Rifle' was gaining popularity. They tried to come up with a cool term for their FALs, M1As, Garands, etc. Their attempts to get 'Mouse Gun' to be the derogatory term for 5.56 didn't catch on.
I wish cargo gameplay didn't involve magic beams. I also wish I didn't have to worry about dying of thirst/hunger in a space sim.
Do DCS players have to have their character eat/drink?
I do miss being able to just use a gun out of the box with out having to add on other stuff for it to be ready.
Opposite experience here. Infantry was forced to do all that polish and starch, and we would see the Pogues walk around looking like shit all the time.
People still make those obsolete wheel guns? I suppose there are those old collectors who want that and black powder and stuff.
