Lived in CA briefly when Ann was elected. Told everyone there Texans were good ppl and she should and would win and she did.
Texas went off course in ‘06 (Perry over better ppl) and in ‘16 and later I did not and will not vote R again

I interviewed @bobbypulido425 on election day in 2024. I was there to talk Tejano music. After the interview we grabbed lunch and talked about our predictions for the election and he told me he fully expected the RGV to vote for Trump.
He believed that an old-school conservative Democrat could win back the valley and turn the political tide.
He then told me he planned to be that candidate.
He was right about Trump in 2024. Will he be right about his own candidacy next week when polls close?

The ability to block "walk" through a town brought to @GregAbbott_TX by past generations of Republicans and Democrats that believed in equity and inclusion for people in his condition.
My Dad was one of the most staunch conservatives I ever knew... and he really liked Ann Richards. Didn't always agree with every view, but he admired how "Texan" and independent she was.
Dad came to leave the GOP after Trump.
There are new faces today that Dad would have liked.
