Britain in 2026 is an absolute fucking shambles. You need an app to turn the heating on, a QR code to order a pint, a password to prove you’re not a robot, and £47 to buy six items in Tesco. The NHS is hanging on by a fucking thread, the roads have more craters than the Somme, and the weather’s been looking like a miserable Sunday in Blackpool since 2008. The government couldn’t organise a piss-up in a brewery, but somehow they’ve managed to make being skint an expensive hobby. Meanwhile, your council tax goes up, your bins get missed, and some bloke on Facebook called Dave reckons it’s all because of 5G. You can’t afford to put the heating on, but you can afford to watch your breath while eating a £6 meal deal.
