I’ve seen a number of people calling this one of the worst World Series of all time.
You had two one-run games where the tying run on base to close out both games and a historic inning in Game 3.
We’ve seen some of the most impressive at-bats we’ve ever seen.
This #WorldSeries has been entertaining and just because the Brewers are about to go 3-0 and *insert your favorite team* isn’t playing in it doesn’t mean we need to knock it.
Old heads when the "old school" Brewers scored 8 runs with 2 outs showing us how it "used to be done"
(They hit the ball hard🤫)
If it increases offense, then sure. Bring 2019 baseball's back as well so the hitters can keep up with pitchers
MLB is experimenting in Arizona Fall League played at Salt River Fields with restricting where outfielders play (more shallow than otherwise with no shifting).
A recent game using these restrictions had an AFL record 5 triples. 😮
You okay with seeing this in the big leagues?
4%absolutely
4%probably
25%probably not
67%no way

Statcast keeps splits from every distance between 5-90 feet, and they tell us who are really the fastest.
While it's good to know a player's top average speed, most baseball plays (fielding/baserunning, etc.) rely more on acceleration than top sprint speed. More on how Statcast/Savant calculate average sprint speed in the video.

Since Contreras is balling out in the Playoffs, I'm going to say this...
The trade for Murphy was a good trade to make when it happened. It made sense. It sucks that Murphy hasn't played up to his potential he could, because of injuries and just low performance. But he is still a good catcher.
Doesn't mean I can't wish we had Contreras for his offense
Sucks that the World Series last year was legit an all-timer, this is gonna seem "less than" even though it's an exciting series.
