Have you ever chased a moving school bus with an incapacitated driver, jumped aboard and saved all the kids? If not, shuddup and give this young store clerk a hand. Not a lot of guys would go, “that’s a problem I’m responsible for solving.” I said give him a hand! He deserves it: kare11.com/article/news/loca…

It's a healthcare economy, and the rest of us are just living in it.

ALT Line chart titled "Effectively all of the net job creation has been in healthcare and social assistance, and jobs are shrinking in the rest of the economy" shows change in employment since January 2025. Healthcare and social assistance has added 952,000 jobs through July 2026 with consistent monthly growth, while the rest of the economy has lost 362,000 jobs over the same period, meaning all net job creation has come from a single sector in an unusually unbalanced labor market.

Will a Medicaid enrollee who suffers from seizures and addiction, and became homeless after losing his job, be able to navigate the process to prove he's too frail to work? That's the kind of question hanging over the implementation of a new Medicaid work requirement. @K_Hought
Some states that have long wanted to pass Medicaid work requirements planned to excuse people without steady housing from the rules. But the federal government said that’s not happening. @K_Hought reports⤵️

Minnesota does big things – and nowhere is that more true than in medicine. We are home to leading hospitals, world-class research universities, and one of the largest medical technology hubs in the world.
But we can’t take that leadership for granted. We need to expand our health care workforce and keep building the future of medicine here in Minnesota.
