It’s over.
Paxton is done.
The line this week is “We should have ran Cornyn, he’s be winning.”
It’s not true, but it’s the line.
Accounts like these posting copium will start dropping off and start dooming and blaming soon.
🔥 Fantastic news for Ken Paxton. This lead rapidly becoming insurmountable.
Per NBC' TargetSmart model, the voting has shaped up as such.
🔴 Reps 46%
🔵 Dems 44%
🟡 Unknown 10%
If the voting historical patterns hold true applicable to massive advantages for Republicans on election day, Gay James Talarico's party has to pull 70% of the unknown/independent voters to win. For context, there is no historical precedent in any election where one party took 70% of the unknown/Independent vote in Texas...NONE, ZERO, ZILCH!
To complicate the issue further, 68% of the electorate is over 40 years old. Gay James was depending heavily upon young/first time voters.
*Additional context- TargetSmart is ALWAYS skewed left. What you are seeing right now is the very best they can come up with. I don't want to state it unequivocally, but am very confident that this lead for Republicans is significantly larger than their model reflects.

Even the Republican influencers don’t want to show their data, because it’s too Dem leaning!
I've been asked about early voting analysis.
The dilemma I have is that my platform is big enough such that being too blunt can have an effect on morale. I'll push out new states and tools out to my website soon, but won't announce them here on 𝕏.
I will be giving @realJeremyCarl my predictions a week in advance so he can hold me accountable after Election Day.
You MUST turn out and bring their friends, and brace yourself on election night. Even TX is going to be a fight.
The copening begins…
I’m sitting here watching everyone panic about Texas and all I can think is that all of this speculation, dooming, and paranoia wouldn’t exist if the state GOP would simply close the primaries and register by party.
You don’t have this panic and confusion over Florida, even though Dems are still putting up a fight. Because everyone knows this week is the week their hopes die on the vine there, every year.

Republicans hate their moms.
And your mom too.
Republicans hate all moms.
Democrats love moms.
I also love moms. 😏

Don’t worry if your mom voted for a democrat. She’ll be alright 😉

I’m more qualified than 99% of “journalists” and pundits to make predictions about Texas politics. I’ve worked on a winning US House race in Texas (Jasmine Crockett) and was head of fundraising on a US Senate race there as well. @cd_hooks needs to issue a correction

Something is happening in Texas and everyone should learn the name Bobby Pulido
🚨I’m told by @votolatino there were more than 8,000 people in attendance at this event, making it one of the biggest campaign events in Texas this cycle.

There is not a single number on here that looks good for Republicans. Every metric is going the wrong direction. Rural vote is down. Hispanics voting more and more democratic. 65+ voting less. Young people voting more. Rs showing up less than normal. It’s all bad.

Democratic primary voters just re-took the Early Vote lead in Texas by 3,000. This is huge.
Republicans will likely take the lead going into Election Day but the fact that they haven’t been able to reach escape velocity with 9 days to go is a big red flag for Rs.

TEXAS IPEV DAY 6 UPDATE
Yesterday was the first weekend voting. The 2024 EV - 2026 recall shift is now down to 8.4 points. Adding in the other rural counties, being conservative this implies a 5 pt shift (Trump +8.7 electorate among 2024 voters).
The weekend voting saw the expected bump for Democrats, who reversed the reddening through the end of the first week. Places like Collin/Denton/Montgomery all had their bluest day on record, as they did in 2024.
We now have Bexar, and El Paso added in, and they both behave like big metros. El Paso Dems especially are putting up an extremely strong electorate shift. Tarrant Dems recovered quite a bit as well.
We added Wilson County - blue collar deep-red San Antonio exurbs. As is true with Hardin, the electorate is barely budging. But, as with Hardin, their turnout rate is low (<80% of 2024 so far for both). The same is true for the white precincts in Nederland/Groves in Jefferson County - their electorate is barely budging but their turnout is lacking.
The Latino shift is really strong still in Houston/Dallas/Tarrant/rural Hidalgo/Cameron - Dems still have a lot of votes out in Bexar/Nueces.
HD-144 in South Houston/Pasadena has a D+10 turnout shift among 2024 voters *and* 20% of the electorate not having cast a ballot in 2024. Wonder how that will break.
So far nothing too surprising here quite yet - the U-shape is manifesting, and the Republican 3/3 voters are going to continue mid-loading. Dem low prop voters are going to continue backloading towards the end of the week/EDay.
We are down from 64% of voters being 3/3 on day 1 to just 52% - so low prop voters are selecting weekends.
Sunday should probably see an influx of black voters into the electorate, followed by some red days Monday/Tuesday and then the last few days after that I would expect to get bluer.
Stay tuned for more, we will do our next Space on Wednesday!
