Told @AndyMitten I’d write about my first proper away in a decade after @anthonyfdshaw sorted me a ticket. @UWSmag has been a part of my life since I was 16 so lovely to be able to write about my son. Keep the faith ❤️

🏆 Last night 🇮🇪 Shamrock Rovers won the 6th league title in last 7 years.
We currently have them projected to skip 🔵 UCL Q1 and start in Q2 via title holder rebalancing, as one of the two highest ranked teams in Q1.
For that to materialize, they need Slovan Bratislava 🇸🇰 and Qarabag 🇦🇿 both NOT to win domestic leagues.
Rovers 🇮🇪 are very likely to be seeded in Q2 and would be positioned very well to secure league phase football next summer.
If they need to start from Q1, they will certainly be seeded there as well.

Darren Purse may well put together a really impressive Darren Purse team in the First Division but so far his only trait as Sligo Rovers manager is being a complete whinge bag.

Two goals in two minutes (39 and 41) for Adam Brennan put Shamrock Rovers on brink of title as things stand. Bohs scoreless with Shels at half-time.
Brennan started the season as a flying wing back and is ending it as a central midfielder timing runs to perfection into the box.
Great to see Gary O’Neill back in the squad for Shamrock Rovers’ game with Sligo Rovers tonight. A year since he stepped away from football to undergo treatment for testicular cancer.

The Beat: Bohs avoid Dalymount floodlight disaster with vital repairs in time for Shels game tonight.
There also won't be a title lift for Shamrock Rovers if things go their way later as club don't want to tempt fate.

The Walls by James McClean (with @McDonnellDan ) is a powerful book. It's a must-read to have any chance to try and understand the point he is at in his life now. The other voices that add so much to the book also show the kind of support he has/needs.

Dawson Devoy to miss the rest of the season for Bohemians. Will serve further two-game ban (Shels & Pats) for part in brawl at end of Shamrock Rovers match.
Michael Noonan, Naj Razi & Daniel Grant also banned. Matt Healy's accumulation of yellows rules him out of Friday v Sligo.
