Passing Out Parade: OTA, Chennai Lieutenant General Manoj Kumar Katiyar, PVSM, UYSM,AVSM, GOC-In-C Western Command, reviewed the impressive Passing Out Parade, #POP of SSC-121, SSC(W)-35 and equivalent courses at #OTA, #Chennai on 07 March 2026. On this momentous occasion, 345 Officer Cadets (including 27 Women) were commissioned in the #IndianArmy. In addition, 04 Officer Cadets (including 02 Women) from Friendly Foreign Countries #FFC successfully completed their training, fostering bonds of Camaraderie and Cooperation across International Borders. 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐮𝐭 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞: 𝐎𝐓𝐀, 𝐆𝐚𝐲𝐚 Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Command, reviewed the magnificent Winter Term #POP distinguished by immaculate drill precision. 253 Officer Cadets of SSC(Tech) Men-64 and 28 of SSC(Tech) Women-35 passed out as commissioned Officers of the #IndianArmy, as they crossed the legendary Antim Pag, celebrating their momentous Pehla Kadam into commissioned service. During his address to Officer Cadets, the Reviewing Oficer emphasised on the importance of upholding the Indian Army's values, traditions and ethos. He also congratulated the proud parents of the Officer Cadets commissioned today. AUO Kuldeep received the coveted Sword of Honour for being the Overall Best All Round Officer Cadet and BUO Aswin Kirupai won the Gold Medal for being First in the Order of Merit.
