If you don’t preach the good news, are you even following Christ’s command? Jesus didn’t tell his followers to argue all day about what is a Christian. He told them: “Go, therefore, and make disciples of people of all the nations.” — Matthew 28:19 A lot of people on X spend their time rage baiting, insulting others, and arguing over theology. That’s not disciple-making. Jesus and the first-century Christians preached publicly, from house to house, and used the Scriptures to teach people. “From house to house they continued without letup teaching and declaring the good news.” — Acts 5:42 “I did not hold back from telling you… publicly and from house to house.” — Acts 20:20 Jehovah’s Witnesses are known worldwide for doing exactly that. Every year, hundreds of thousands get baptized after studying the Bible and becoming disciples of Jesus Christ. It’s faith in Jesus Christ as the Messiah and Son of God, obedience to his teachings, love for others, preaching the good news of God’s Kingdom, and worshipping the one true God whom Jesus himself worshipped. “This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ.” — John 17:3 That’s the standard Jesus gave.

The Bible is remarkably consistent. There is one true God, the Father. Jehovah is His name. (John 17:3; Psalm 83:18; Exodus 3:15) Jesus came in his Father’s name, made His Father’s name known, taught us to pray for His Father’s name to be sanctified, and even after returning to heaven said: “I am ascending to my Father and your Father and to my God and your God.” (John 20:17) Even in heaven, Jesus receives revelation from God. (Revelation 1:1) Jesus is God’s only-begotten Son, “the firstborn of all creation” (Colossians 1:15), “the beginning of the creation by God” (Revelation 3:14), and the one through whom all other things came into existence. Before coming to earth, Jesus shared glory alongside his Father. (John 17:5) He humbled himself, gave his life as a ransom for mankind, fulfilled the Messianic prophecies, and was exalted by Jehovah to a superior position at His right hand. (Philippians 2:9; Psalm 110:1) Soon, God’s Kingdom will bring an end to human rulership, false religion, and Satan’s system, restoring the earth to Paradise. (Daniel 2:44; Revelation 21:3-4) The Bible’s message is simple: Jehovah is God. Jesus is His Son. The Kingdom is the solution. Search for Jehovah while He may be found. Any faith that denies that Jehovah the God & Father of Jesus Christ is the only true God is not true Christianity— John 17:3 There is one God (Jehovah) & one mediator between God (Jehovah) & Men, the man, Jesus Christ. — 1 Tim 2:5-6 Very soon Christ will destroy Christendom
Trinitarian Christianity is the only true Christianity. Any faith or belief denying the Trinity is not of God (1 John 2:22). Don't be ashamed to say so. "In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" (Matthew 28:19).

Today is a very special day for all mankind because it was on this day that the greatest act of love was ever shown in history. This day April 2nd on the Hebrew Calendar is Nisan 14, on this historical day Jesus Christ gave his perfect life as a ransom for all mankind to buy us back from sin and death and to give us all reconciliation with God and open the door for us to have everlasting life on a paradise earth. This is the will of my Father, that everyone who recognizes the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life.—John 6:40. Today millions from all nations and language groups will gather together in love and unity to observe the lords evening meal as Jesus commanded his followers - “Keep doing this in remembrance of me” Luke 20:19 I’m proud to be one of Jehovahs witnesses and a follower of my lord and savior Jesus Christ.

John 14:1-3 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Exercise faith in God; exercise faith also in me.” What did Jesus mean by excersise faith in God and also in me ? If Jesus actually ever claimed to be God this would be a completely arbitrary and meaningless statement.

On January 21, 2018, Bible Scholar Nehemia Gordon and his team of researchers discovered the 1,000th Hebrew Bible manuscript containing the original name of God in Hebrew with vowels. For two hundred years, scholars have believed based on Greek sources and conjecture that the Hebrew name of God was originally pronounced “Yahweh.” In late 2016, Gordon found never-translated traditional Jewish sources that explicitly identified the vowels of God’s name in Hebrew as “Yehovah.” This is similar to the English Jehovah, but with a “Y” and the emphasis on the final syllable. God’s name, known as the Tetragrammaton, is written in most Hebrew Bible manuscripts with one of its vowels missing, making it unreadable in accordance with an ancient Jewish ban on speaking the name. Despite this, Gordon had previously discovered five Bible manuscripts with a full set of Hebrew vowels proving the pronunciation of the Tetragrammaton was known to Jewish scribes as “Yehovah.” The original Hebrew name of God re-discovered in 1,000 Bible manuscripts religionnews.com/2018/01/25/…“ineffable”%20name.

Trinitarian theology requires a series of internal contradictions: God died yet is immortal God knows all things yet does not know God is unlimited yet limited God is fully God and fully human God prayed to himself God exalted himself God the immortal died yet did not truly die and resurrected himself God hands the Kingdom over to himself These ideas are not taught in Scripture. They arise from later Greek metaphysics and philosophical speculation, not from the Bible. Jesus consistently identified the Father as the only true God, distinct from himself, and Scripture presents Jesus as God’s Son, not God Himself. For a Bible-based explanation of who Jesus truly is and who his Father Jehovah is, visit JW.org. Truth does not require contradictions to survive.

True Christians put Bible truth over human tradition. Doctrines like the Trinity, eternal torment, a heaven-only hope, and prayers to saints were not taught by Jesus or the first-century Christians. They developed later under philosophical and pagan influence. The Bible teaches: • Jehovah is the only true God — John 17:3 • Jesus is God’s Son — Matthew 16:16 • The dead will be resurrected — Acts 24:15 • The righteous will live forever on a paradise earth — Psalm 37:29; Matthew 5:5 True Christianity follows Scripture, not tradition. During Christ’s Thousand Year Reign, mankind will be restored to perfection and the earth will become a global paradise. At the end of that period, Jesus Christ will hand the Kingdom back to his God and Father, Jehovah, and willingly subject himself to Him so that God may be all things to everyone. Psalm 37:29 — The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it. Matthew 5:5 — Happy are the mild-tempered, since they will inherit the earth. 1 Corinthians 15:24-28 — The Son hands over the Kingdom to his God and Father. Mankind will then be restored to the perfect condition God originally intended—everlasting life on a paradise earth, perfect health, and peaceful worship of Jehovah forever.

Are Jehovah’s Witnesses a dangerous Christian cult that you should avoid ? Many have falsely accused Jehovah’s Witnesses of being a cult not because of evidence, but because of doctrinal bias, misinformation, false stories, social pressure, and ignorance. Jehovah’s Witnesses are a peaceful, nonviolent, nonpolitical, international Christian religion that strives to live strictly by the Bible and to follow our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We reject spiritism, the occult, mysticism, paganism, and any spiritual practice that is out of harmony with Bible teachings. Such practices are strictly prohibited and are clearly condemned in Scripture as demonic and dangerous, because they draw people away from true worship and reliance on God. Our meetings are free. Our publications are free. Bible education and ministerial training are free. There is no paid clergy, no secret teachings, no human leader, and no financial coercion. We reject fear-based doctrines, and our meetings of worship are open to the public. No one is ever forced or pressured to become one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. We emphasize love for God, love for neighbor, honesty, high moral standards, practical Bible application, and strong family values everything you would not expect to find in a cult. Disagreement with our beliefs does not make us dangerous. It simply makes us different. Below are the reasons this “cult” label is commonly used against Jehovahs witnesses and why it fails under scrutiny. I. Doctrinal differences Jehovah’s Witnesses reject teachings many churches consider essential, such as the Trinity, the immortal soul, and eternal hellfire. When a group challenges long-held traditions especially those tied to religious identity and authority it is often dismissed as a cult rather than examined biblically. II. Not fitting mainstream Christianity Many people assume “Christian” means Catholic or Protestant. Because Jehovah’s Witnesses align with neither, they are frequently mislabeled instead of being recognized as a distinct form of Christianity. III. Strong moral and behavioral standards Witnesses live by clear, Bible-based standards regarding neutrality, conduct, and worship. Outsiders sometimes mistake voluntary discipline and personal conviction for “control,” even though membership is voluntary and individuals are free to leave the religion whenever they want.

Some critics claim that Jehovah’s Witnesses have Freemasonic roots dating back to Charles Taze Russell. This allegation is not supported by evidence and was debunked decades ago. Jehovah’s Witnesses explicitly reject Freemasonry. A person cannot be a member of a Masonic lodge and remain part of a Jehovah’s Witness congregation. Freemasonry, with its secret rituals and symbolism, is incompatible with Bible teachings and is therefore prohibited. Charles Taze Russell himself was never a Freemason. Historical records and statements from Masonic lodges have confirmed that he was not a member of any Masonic lodge in Pennsylvania, elsewhere in the United States, or within the Scottish Rite. He did not practice mysticism, the occult, or secret rituals. Much of the confusion stems from events that occurred after Russell’s death. He was buried in a cemetery that was later purchased by Freemasons, who built a lodge nearby. This took place decades after he had died and has no connection to his beliefs or to Jehovah’s Witnesses. Claims about symbols associated with his grave are also misleading. Russell had an interest in pyramidology, which—while misguided—was a common 19th-century belief and not connected to Freemasonry. The cross and crown symbol used at the time was a Christian emblem, not a Masonic one. The assertion that Jehovah’s Witnesses have Masonic or occult roots is therefore false, historically inaccurate, and defamatory. It persists largely through repetition, misinformation, and conspiracy thinking rather than credible evidence. Unfortunately, such claims discourage honest inquiry and keep people from engaging with Jehovah’s Witnesses on the basis of facts. Truth deserves careful examination—not rumors or recycled accusations. Masonic Historian William D. Moore – Russell’s name not in membership rolls William D. Moore researched historical lodge memberships and notes: 🔗 freemasonry.bcy.ca/biography… (Site from Grand Lodge of British Columbia & Yukon: not a lodge page, but a credible Masonic history portal—Russell is not listed as a Freemason.)

Correction: The cemetery where Charles Taze Russell is buried was not owned by the Freemasons. A Masonic lodge was constructed near the cemetery decades after Russell’s death, and it has no connection to his beliefs or to Jehovah’s Witnesses. Charles Taze Russell himself was never a Freemason. Historical records and statements from Masonic lodges confirm that he was not a member of any Masonic lodge in Pennsylvania, elsewhere in the United States, or within the Scottish Rite. He did not practice mysticism, the occult, or secret rituals.

Lastly, opposers of Jehovah’s Witnesses often claim that the New World Translation (NWT) is a corrupted Bible created to fit our theology. This claim is false, biased, and unsupported by scholarship. The NWT contains the same 66 books found in other Bibles—the inspired Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek Scriptures. It is not an “extra” Bible, nor does it add or remove books from the biblical canon. What distinguishes the NWT is not corruption, but translation choices. First, God’s name. The divine name YHWH appears in the Hebrew Scriptures over 7,000 times. The NWT restores God’s personal name rendered as Jehovah in all those places, in harmony with Exodus 3:15, where God says: “This is my name forever.” Many modern translations remove God’s name and replace it with titles such as “LORD,” something the original Hebrew text does not do. Second, the Christian Greek Scriptures. Strong historical and manuscript evidence shows that early Christians were familiar with and used the divine name, especially since Greek copies of the Septuagint from before and during the first century contain the divine name written in Hebrew characters. Jesus himself said he made his Father’s name known. For this reason, the NWT restores God’s name in the New Testament where the context clearly indicates it was originally present. Third, the NWT uses modern, readable English, rather than outdated or archaic language, making the Bible easier to understand for today’s readers without changing its message. Critics often point to a few passages and label them “corrupt,” such as: • John 1:1 (“the Word was a god”) • Colossians 1:16 (“all other things”) • Hebrews 1:8 (“God is your throne”) • John 8:58 (“before Abraham was, I have been”) However, these renderings are not errors or fabrications. They are supported by Greek grammar, manuscript evidence, scholarly discussion, context, and parallels in other translations. Scholars openly acknowledge that these verses are debated, and the NWT’s renderings fall well within the range of legitimate translation options. They are not doctrinal inventions, but defensible translations that accurately convey the biblical text. Aside from these features, the content of the NWT is the same as other Bibles. The differences lie in translation philosophy, not in altering Scripture. Jehovah’s Witnesses also regularly consult and use other respected translations such as the KJV, ASV, Rotherham, Byington, and Greek interlinear texts in study and teaching. The claim that Jehovah’s Witnesses “made their own Bible” is therefore demonstrably false. The New World Translation is a legitimate, scholarly translation of the same inspired Scriptures distinguished by restoring God’s name, using clear modern language, and rendering debated passages honestly rather than traditionally.

It’s time to question the false narratives that are repeatedly spread about Jehovah’s Witnesses one of the most misunderstood and misrepresented Christian religions in the world. Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that pure worship, as practiced by the first-century Christian congregation, has been restored. This belief is not based on secrecy or coercion, but on careful study of the Bible and a sincere effort to follow the teachings and example of Jesus Christ. Rather than accepting rumors or labels, we encourage honest investigation. Visit a local Kingdom Hall, ask questions, or request a Bible study with one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. See firsthand the love, peace, unity, and Bible-based teaching that characterize our worship. Labeling a peaceful, nonviolent, nonpolitical religious group as a “dangerous cult” fuels prejudice and misunderstanding. In a world already marked by hatred and violence, careless accusations can contribute to harassment, persecution, and harm against people who simply wish to worship God according to their conscience. Jehovah’s Witnesses strive to honor Jehovah God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to follow Jesus as King. We believe God’s Kingdom will ultimately bring about pure worship throughout the earth, replacing false religion with truth just as the Bible foretold. Before repeating claims, accusations, or stereotypes, take the time to learn the facts. Honest inquiry leads to understanding, and understanding leads to fairness.
